The Bionic is not bootloader unlockable, period, amd won't be based on motorola's current info. It will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich soon, and Jellybean before long. n Truly a great phone, but it does have an OMAP chipset, most have the 4430 set, a few lucky ones have the OMAP 4460 set. Even with the locked bootloader it's a phone hackers dream and is supported by a very strong and knowledgable user community. The stock clockspeed is 1 Ghz, all are overclockable to at least 1,2 Ghz stable.

Cool phone, but needs frequent recharging

I like the look and function of this phone. There are so many features that I couldn't possibly learn to use even a quarter of them. Great reception, internet connection is pretty fast, fairly user friendly for a beginner trying to get started; all making it a phone I'd recommend. I do worry sometimes about the strength of the E&M field so close to my head, though. The battery runs down quickly, after only about 2 days, letting me know it's pushing a lot of energy through or wasting it continuously, even on battery conserve mode. I have started talking on speaker phone almost exclusively.

I wish i didnt buy into the hype this phone created when it came out

I have had my phone for almost a year, it really sucks!! dont know if its verizon or the bionic, but drops calls like crazy, even with 3 bars in my house sitting still!!! awesome video quality, but seriously, I bought a phone for using as a phone, not a mobile tv station!! It constantly freezes up, and the screen dosent pickup your finger strokes about 1/8 of the time!! you can forget trying to use it while its plugged into a charger or your computer, it goes nuts and dosent respond to touch properly at all!!

The Specs for the phone are inacurate. One would say MADE-UP.
Others would say Fake.
The droid Bionic is a locked phone.
Locked bootloader and Carrier Locked.
It is a CDMA phone.
Even if the GSM aspect is unlocked, it only does data not Calls. The GSM band is for 4G DATA only.

The Processor is a TI OMAP4 not an NVIDIA.

The bionic is a great phone, but if you buy it based on these specs then you will be disappointed since these specs are wrong.

Maybe the person selling this just made a mistake and mixed the specs up with another phone.

Maybe this is an intentional scam.

Best Phone Ever

I've gone through a lot of smart phones and this is definitely my favorite. The phone's response time is incredible. I'm constantly streaming, texting and gaming so the extended battery was a must for me. I still thought the Bionic had a better battery then some of the other phones I had used.
