Mizuno has always made the best forgings on the market

The Mizuno MP-62 continues Mizuno's tradition of offering the highest quality forged irons in the golf industry. They are very traditional looking at address, yet incorporate a little bit of technology in the cavity creating a playable low offset cavityback blade. These irons certainly aren't a club for everyone, but for a player that has control over his ball flight they are about as good as it gets. By design they create a low-mid flight and are very workable, yet forgiving on mis-hits (to a certain extent). If you are a good player, take a hard look at the MP-62, there arent many that rival it.

MP 62's...

I bought these hoping for a club that would be more accurate and force me to practice. In actuality these are that and more. I can work the ball with ease but with the dual muscle design they are just as forgiving as my titleist cavity backs. Mizuno outdid themselves with these. They feel better on thin hits than my 755's when I pured them. They are very consistent with ball flight and distance. They are still a players iron so you need to be a single digit player to hit these. If you are looking for a players club that is extremely versitle, feels great, but still gives you some forgiveness i highly recommend this iron!!!

Mizuno MP 62 Iron set Golf Club

The fault, dear Brutus, lies not with the club but with operator or it is not the arrow that is the problem, it is the Indian. Of course if more golfers understood and believed this, most golf club companies would go broke.

I'm a 7 in the summer and 9 in the winter. I have been playing golf for the better part of 4 decades and these clubs do not make a signifcant difference, except they seem to be a bit shorter than my MX-23's. I like the smaller head for getting out the rough. Yes, they have a smaller sweet spot which can be occaisionally troublesome when my swing goes South. I was hoping to have more control with fade, draw, high, and especially low shots. So far, this "Ain't necessarily so" to quote Gershwin. I will keep playing them because I bought them but I'm not holding my breath for a life changing experience.

I bought them because I read some good reviews and just wanted to try more of blade design AND the price was great. I will leave you with this thought about golf club ads that use the psychology that if so-and-so pro plays it why shouldn't you. Well, if you don't swing a club like a pro don't buy a club that a pro plays, buy one that works just fine for YOUR game and spend some money on lessons from a coach that you like, then pracitice in an intelligent way which is not just beating balls on a range.

MP 62 IRON REVIEW

THESE CLUBS ARE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.THEY HAVE A DEGREE OF FORGIVENESS YET THEY ARE FORGED AND VERY ACCURATE WITH GOOD BALL FLIGHT.THEY LOOK LIKE A CROSS BETWEEN THE MP 30 AND THE MP 60 BUT THEY HIT AND FEEL BETTER.I RECOMMEND GETTING THE TRUE TEMPER XP SHAFTS.ALL IN ALL A+

Bring your "A game"

If you aren't serious about playing your best, then these are not the clubs you're after. If you want an absolutely superb set of irons that, when struck properly will give you instant positive feedback, then the MP62 is your club. I love these clubs! They are not for the timid or the once a month player, these are some serious irons for those who love the game and want to go low!
