|This listing is for a Miller Kreisel VX-7 compact powered home subwoofer in great working condition. It operates perfectly there are no air leaks, the woofers surround is good and the glue that holds it all together is fine. The amp works perfectly it is the type that you would have to switch on and off with a switched outlet surge protector or simply unplug it when your not using it, it does not have auto power or even a power switch.|

This is an excellent small subwoofer from the great American firm, Miller and Kreisel Sound, better known as M&K. While compact in size, this unit delivers clear, accurate and tight bass. Designed specifically for small room applications, it serves very well with any small pair of speakers for a 2.1 Stereo system or as the .1 for a 5.1 theater application. While this unit will not shake your foundation, it was not built to do that. If you need more power, buy a larger unit, such as M&K's THX150 or THX350, or one of their many other superb subwoofers. But if you're looking for accurate, tight bass that isn't bloated, this is your meal ticket. If you value music, especially, look here. I've put mine in the bedroom on a new Onkyo TX-8555 and an older pair of Bose 301. Bingo! This sub fills in the bottom end that the Bose were missing. Many new TV broadcasts also feature deep bass lines as well. This subwoofer was crafted in the United States, with emphasis on the word crafted. Miller and Kreisel tested all of their designs rigorously, using equipment that some companies don't even know how to use. So you're not just getting a cheap particle board box with a flimsy driver. A keeper, perfect for smaller systems or the bedroom, or even in an apartment where neighbors are an issue. Thanks for your time and enjoy!
