Well what can I say, I love a British murder mystery. The character of Inspector Barnaby is likeable and the setting is beautiful, even if the murders are grisly! Love this series!
I bought midsomer murders and I am very excited about it. I have ever intention of buying more. I love John Nettles, maybe because nettles was my gr,gr grandmothers maiden name but he is a great actor,
I started watching this series about 2 years ago on The History Chan. and just loved it. I really like the way Barnaby interacts with his family in each show. And I really like the way they do not let you know who did it, until the last 15 minutes of the show. You get your monies worth out of each disk.
Great English Mysteries to add to my collection. Each 5 DVD's are 2 hours long. You receive a great discription of all the actors bilogs and not to mention the Midsumer Map locals.
The quality of the recording was excellent. The DVDs were packaged attractively and the content was great!
I really enjoy murder mysteries and I love the way Barnaby and his family interact. He seems like a really good man. I can really get into the plots.
I wanted to buy it because the price was not bad and I like to be able to watch my favorites whenever I want to instead of waiting for them to come on the satellite.
I liked the fact that there were five DVDs. I only wish there were more!
