Featuring an original story within the classic Disney universe, players will be asked to help Jiminy Cricket and Tinker Bell in their quest to re-organize the famous Disney storybook vault after someone accidentally changed the stories. This is the sequel from METEOS, with Disney graphics style all over and a slightly different style of play.
Not quite as good as the original, but pretty darn good still.
The biggest difference beside the Walt Disney graphic environment replacing the Science Fiction worlds, is the play style, as we can move the cubes laterally, which was not permitted in the first game. This makes the game closer to all the others puzzle games like 7Wonders, Bejeweled and such, but it also "should" make the game easier than the original METEOS. Well i said SHOULD for a reason, because the is still quite challenging, especially if the Disney style, invite you to buy it for your young child, be careful, this game is still challenging just like the original METEOS was.
Also in order to play just the simple mode, you MUST open up the different Walt Disney stories, by playing the History mode and winning, if not only the Toy Story world is available. So good game still, but hard and slightly less entertaining as the original was.
This game is very fun, but also very challenging at times. It took me a while to get used to the way it operates and how to play, but once i figured it out, I enjoyed the challenge. Recommended for those who love puzzle games!
We're going to Disneyland so I thought a Disney game would be fun! I thought that it would be more like tetrus, but you have no control over the falling blocks. You just hit the matches with your stylus. However, it is so fast that it seams there is no strategy involved just franticly hitting the screen.
I like the game in that it has a storyline. The gamer has to help disney characters from various movies clear the blocks in thero way. It is fun and gets harder as you progress. A simple yet hard game to master.
It seems to be a game of luck as much as skill. If you get the items you need, it is easy to complete a level. Sometimes you don't get the items you need, and could be frustrating for younger players. You are given bonus items, but penalized in your score if you use them, and that doesn't seem to make much sense to me. All in all I would not recommend this game, at least not at this price, maybe for a few dollars for a brief distraction is what I feel it is worth. This is not a game we will play repeatedly.
