Mercury Rising

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

A ten-year-old autistic boy is looking through a magazine and sees a code embedded in a puzzle. This code instructs anyone who can see it to call a number and win a prize. The embedding of the code is the last step in a tedious process to test the integrity of these sorts of codes "in plain sight" to see if they truly are invisible. This child is barely able to function. When he dials the number, all hell breaks loose. This is a purposely embedded code that is linked to "Code Mercury", a supposedly unbreakable code that the government has spent billions developing to be used for almost everything in military intelligence and national secrets. Alec Baldwin is the head of this program, and afraid that his system could have been compromised, orders operatives to kill the boy. The hit is botched, and the child's parents are murdered, but the child climbed into a secret hiding place and escaped detection. Bruce Willis is an FBI agent called in to protect the child. Years earlier he took the rap for a botched undercover job, and has been stuck with dirty jobs ever since. Over the next few days he really has his hands filled with this child, and defending both his life and that of the child from these rogue National Security Agents. This is a good movie and pretty chilling. Makes you wonder just how many times something along these lines has happened in the past.

US Top Secret codes with FBI Meets 9 yr old boy

Yes its a Bruce Willis movie but I enjoy this movie because it has the young actor (not so young now) Miko Hughes who plays Simon. Even though he was not on the main credits he certainly made the movie. And i heard thru the movie grapevine that he got paid more than bruce willis.

This movie is about a boy who is autistic and can read puzzles. he stumbles onto a code that is top secret US stuff and becomes a victim of the people set out to prevent any threats against the US. His mom and pop get killed and Bruce Willis becomes attached like any of his movies and protects him from being killed as well. A get flick for any action lovers...

A wonderful suspense filled movie.

I love Bruce Willis and wanted to add this movie to my collection. I like this movie for it's plot. It's about a burned out FBI agent who cares for a 9 year old boy whose parents were murdered. He knows he must protect the child at all cost even if it's going against the government.

Very entertaining, great movie!

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

While it is not one of the best movies Bruce Willis has starred in, Mercury Rising delivers action, drama, a little comedy, and heart-warming moments. Some of the things in the movie are a little hard to believe such as why the secret service would put an encoded message in the back of a children's puzzle-book for starters. However, if you overlook that part of the storyline you are easily drawn into the overall movie which is quite enjoyable. As my father use to say, "It's a movie, you're just supposed to accept it." The little boy is very believable in his part, and Willis does an awesome job as usual. I definitely would recommend it!

Mercury Rising

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Bruce Willis is an outcast FBI agent who is assigned to protect a 9 year old autistic boy who is the target for assassins after cracking a top secret government code. This moves at a breakneck speed building tension along the way as various covert types try to put a bullet in Willis and companies collective head. "Mercury Rising" is a very entertaining and solid thriller.
