La Mer Moisturizing Cream

I find "Creme de La Mer" moisturizer to be appealing and effective in various ways. I like the fragrance which does remind me of the sea thus aptly named "La Mer".
It is very thick and rich in formulation. However, despite many reports of difficulty in application, I personally do not find it difficult to apply. I simply dab/work it into the skin over small areas, gradually covering the facial/neck skin as desired.
I think that La Mer is a very effective skin tightening/firming cream and a long lasting moisturizer. The cream is absorbed into the skin gradually and also has an immediate smoothing effect when applied to wrinkles around eyes and mouth. When I apply La Mer cream at night, I still notice it's effects the next morning.
La Mer is an expensive cream but a little goes a long way. Since I do not use any particular facial cream consistently, a small .10 0z. jar used sparingly on facial/neck "target areas" lasts me months.
If I had more money to spend, I'd purchase the "large size" and use this product more often, quite possibly all over the body!

This cream is simply fabulous!

It moisturizes skin deeply and keep skin hydrated for many hours. It's perfect in winter, in summertime I only use it at nighttime. The cream is too heavy for humid summerday, the Gel Cream (the lighter version of the Creme de La Mer) works better as a daytime moisturizer for hot summer days.

The Cream does a fabulous job even at healing dry patches or skin irritations. Redness calms down just overnight when using this.

I often use this as an eye cream, also, especially over night.

Would recommend to any skin type except for oily. Works perfect for every age. I'm in my early Thirties and have been using this for 5 years already.

I was curious about La Mer moisturizing cream because it is so expensive. I wanted to see if the product is worth the price but was not willing to purchase a $200 jar in case it didn't live up to my expectations. I bought tiny sample jar of it, .24 ounce, which is enough to let me try it a couple of times. It goes on smoothly and looks nice on my skin, but I see nothing about the cream that justifies its high price. Sometimes people think a product is good just because of its price, but that is not so in this case. There are plenty of creams out there at a much lower price that perform just as well....Olay night cream and Avon moisturizers, just for two examples.

This luscious cream is very mild as I have very sensitive skin. It is so gentle that it can be used on the delicate eye area. This product is a wonderful all purpose moisturizer.

I have been using these small sizes of LaMer for a long time and the product is wonderful. Puts moisture into skin without making it look shiny, lasts and has that grear fragrance.
I'd love to get a larger size when my finances allow it and Ebay seems to be the way to go!
