The improved MEGA MAN 64 bursts into a 3D world of RPG elements with an interesting story line thrown in for good measure. Our hero is on a discovery mission for the lost treasure called the Mother Lode. Along the way, Mega Man encounters not only rebel robots, but also a cast of characters with problems that inevitably thrust him into battles with robotic enemies and their gigantic bosses. With an ample supply of cinematic cutscenes and voice samples, MEGA MAN 64 is also jam-packed with Buster Parts, unique weapons, and plenty of special items to discover during your quest. Mega Man's friend Roll aids the hero in upgrading his weapons and abilities by getting parts from the Junk Shop, and then combining them into powerful abilities. An awesome RPG: You crash & have to repair your ship.

Created: 08/23/06
The Good: -Graphics
-Sound
-Cutscenes
-Fighting Style
-Characters
-Gameplay
-Buster Upgrades

The Bad: -The lock-on feature suffered, because it wouldn’t allow you to move while locked-on.
- Hard to understand the characters (especially Megaman Juno).
-Most item and upgrades became WAY too expensive, and they were really worthless some of the time.
-A little too short.

Summary: An awesome Action/RPG. You crash on Kattolox Island, forced to search for refractors to repair your ship. You go through a few sub-gates to find refractors, fight the pirate family; the Bonnes, along the way. In the end you fight…yourself (but much better). After you fight Megaman Juno, you say goodbye to everyone and leave the island.

Megaman 64: Into the 3D Realm

Created: 10/06/10
Megaman has always been a game close to my heart and with this new venture into the 3D world, Megaman 64 takes us through a wonderful adventure. Unlike the side-scrollers, Megaman 64 seems to almost play like Mario 64 in the aspects of collecting items and exploring different worlds. The controls are a bit stiff at times, but the overall gameplay is so worth the time. If you like the classic 3D adventure games that the N64 brought to the era, you'll love getting a hold of this game for it goes right in with the other classics such as Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Bomberman 64, and many of the other 3D adventure games.

A classic RPG!

Created: 06/05/09
This game was one of the first RPGs I ever played, and it's definately what got me hooked onto the Genre.

The graphics are par-level, but can you blame the game for the technology it ran on?

The storyline is a bit simple (young english), but enjoyable

The battles are engaging and entertaining

Overall a great game!

Not the best Mega Man

Created: 01/27/08
Not the best Mega Man release. Capcom has gone so many different directions with this franchise. If you have never played this one and you like the Mega Man series give it a run through. Platformers are the backbone of console history. Well post Atari anyhow.
