| Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. Over 2 million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan. There is a new enemy. There is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1. | |

This game is much better than i was expecting. The campaign is great, with incredible graphics, but extremely short, but this makes it easy for multiple playthroughs since it doesn't take very long. Only about 5 hours. The multiplayer is where this game shines. I am an avid FPS player. having played nearly every one of them under the sun in online matches. I kept hearing people talk about how this game didn't stack up with games like Black Ops, Modern Warfare, Bad Company, or Halo, but DON'T LISTEN TO THEM! The customization is great since you can change anything on your weapon during the match, instead having to have a preset loadout from the beginning of the match and being stuck with it until the match is over. Also, since the guys from DICE were the ones over the multiplayer, they put their signature style in place. Pretty much every game type requires you to work as a team, and camping is nearly impossible, because if your team leaves an area and you don't follow you will automatically die and respawn where your team is. The only people that wouldn't like this are you camping DOUCHEBAGS! Like is said, GREAT GAME!!!!
This game is very intense and realistic for a first person shooter. The Campaign is fun and challenging with a great story line. The only problem is that it doesn't last long enough.
The Online/Multiplayer interface is very much like the other popular FPS games, (Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Battlefield...) with a few differences in the way score and kill streaks are met.
All in all, Medal of Honor 2010 is a great game with an intense story line and superb graphics. There really should be more to the campaign (I was able to beat it on easy in a few hours) but it's still a game worth playing.
First off the story is so so at best. There wasn't really anything unique about it. Just felt like a rip off of call of duty with less action and less character interaction. Also the lack of changing location makes the game feel like you're playing a continuation of the same level, even though you're different people in different parts of the country.
The second thing that was in my opinion the worst thing was the lack of multiplayer content and arsenal. You literally have almost no choice in the guns you use. There are very limited kits, seriously lacking customization, the stats of the guns don't match up, you can't choose your equipment for your kit and the so called VETERAN guns are really just a camo pattern... which you can only choose camo or not. The "SNIPER" rifles in the game are super slow firing and even with a damage modifier will only one shot kill in the head... go figure.
Third, The EA server for some reason has been "DOWN" every time I try to play online for over a week. Call of duty and all my other games online play perfect. Also WHY did they make online so slow? By slow I mean retarded. If you want to exit a game after the round is over you have to wait until the next round loads and starts to exit. Why? Also every time you go online it asks you EVERY TIME to validate your online pass... I bought mine second hand so I didn't have one. Nice in your face advertisement you can't disable... Unless you buy more from them.
And lastly, the trophies. I love trophies. I try to platinum every game I get. EA decided you put ONLINE trophies. Which is only cool if people play and IF YOU CAN GET ON THEIR SERVER! Oh and if you have a Hi Def TV or monitor, go stand next to snow and watch the mega pixilation. Don't even think to hard into why grenades bounce or why insurgents are accurate at 70 yards shooting over their heads from cover.
As for Frontlines... They actually found a way to make it even more chock full of glitches and BS. Why can they shoot around corners and I can't?
DON'T BUY THIS GAME UNLESS YOU HAVE EXTREME PATIENTS AND DON'T GET UPSET OVER BS IN THE GAME AND LAZY PROGRAMMING!
The graphics were just fine, the game play was good. The game was just to short, I think EA should give a refund for this title, or give custumer who don't do alot of online play some free download content. Call of Duty Modern Warfare took me about 2-3 months to finish, while this game only took me 3 days. I thought that it was going to continue on, but to my surpize it was over. Save your money on this one. Buy it used let another sucker spend the big money first. I will not purchase the next one without a review.
Bought MoH because my friend raved about it. While the graphics are superb, the "fun factor" is a bit blah. The problem is that two different groups made the game. One group did the campaign - fantastic. The other the online play - boo.
Online: For some reason you can't access all the maps in all the game modes. However, the real "makes no sense at all" part is that you can't go prone! In what "realistic" setting does the thought, "Hey I'm getting shot at, think I'll just kneel down and hope this low wall is high enough to provide cover" run through your head? NONE! Did I mention how limited of a weapon selection there is? However, the game isn't a total loss...
Campaign: The campaign mode is GREAT! If these guys would have made the online portion this game would rule all. Ideas like sliding baseball style into cover are brilliant! The story is fun, really sucking you into parts, and the graphics are wow. If only it had a "maturity" setting so that it wasn't cussing at you the whole time... Ah to dream.
Out of 10 I'd give this game a 4.7... ideas should move forward, not back.
