) I purchased an 2005 model switchback for less than 500 dollars. It is in mint condition and looks as though it's hardly been shot. This bow shots like a dream and i consider it one of the best bows Mathews has ever produced. So if your in the market for a really fantastic bow and don't wont to spend over 500 dollars look into buying a used mathews bow. You wont be let down.

) I bought the Mathews Switchback because I've heard numerous positive reviews about it's smooth action and quite operation. The only flaw I see with the Switchback is it's weight. When it's equiped with sights, an arrow rest and quiver it's little heavy. My previous bow was a PSE Baby G-Force and in comparison, the Switchback is faster and more quite.

I've never owned one Mathews bow before. For me, the Switchback Model was a perfect fit. It's quiet, smooth and overall well designed.

Minor were andchip on grip does not effect bow function smacked a very nice 6 point 35 yds first night I sat this is an awesomeshooter
