I bought this bow after extensive research. I also shot many different bows before deciding this bow was the 'best-of-the-best'. The draw cycle is relatively smooth and as I hunter I also appreciate the valley at full draw. When shot, the bow is both quiet and shock free. I added a Mathews Dead Stop string stopper and that helped me make more consistant releases with even less bow recoil. The bow is amazingly fast and accurate. It was easy to paper tune with a Mathews Down Force rest. Mathews web site contains a Forum which provides invaluable information about all Mathews bows from technical experts and seasoned shooters. Try 'em all . . . there's no REEZEN to buy anything else. 'Nuf Said!
Love this bow. Shoots super fast and relatively light weight as Mathews bows go.I have extended my maximum effective range by better than 20 yards as it is so fast and flat shooting.
I am not a big fan of Mathews. It is all a matter of opinion though. The grip on the Reezen is way too fat for my hand. It feels like I am holding a coke can and therefore it is hard to control. I had no accuracy with this bow.
I also had a derailment after about 50 shots. I had to press my bow and re-string it. I recently sold it and bought a new Bear.
I think this bow would be great for guys with large gorilla hands. One good thing, it is very fast.
one sweet bow! i am now shooting 6 pounds less and 15 feet faster than my 4 year old switchback shot a new z7 but did not like it a 60 pound z7 felt like drawing a 70 pound bow. the reezen draw is very easy and like all mathews about zero recoil with a new axion stabilizer!
