Solid, book-matched East Indian rosewood is used for the back and sides. The top is clear, vertical-grained Sitka spruce. ) After trying a few lower end Martins, I finally got one of these great guitars. You can spend more but you won't find a better sounding guitar. You'll just be paying for the nicer cosmetics and exotic woods.

A Dream for a Dreamer

I have been playing for 40+ years. I own Gibson, Taylors, etc. This is the BEST guitar I have ever owned. The notes ring long after the strings are strummed or picked. The mid-range and bass on this guitar are incredible! It has brought back the whole bluegrass/New grass genre to my playing. It is now my #1 instrument.

great.The overtone is wonderful. The bass sounds, too.
Looks are also the highest. A wonderful sound is played because of the bracing. Standing up of the sound is also good.
