) This amp is loud and crystal clear. Having two separate channels with their own inputs, it allows you to use both at the same time and fine tune each individually. You can use one for an instrument (like an acoustic guitar) and the other for vocals. The microphone input is the reason I chose to buy this amp instead of something else. The brown tolex and finer speaker cloth give it a classier appearance than other amplifiers too.

You should have made a claim and sent it back. My friend has the as50d and it is great wide open. It keeps up with the electric guitar amps, drums, etc. This is the best acoustic guitar amp on the market. You should get yours repaired and then you'll see it the same way as I do. I have the Marshall as100d and there is none better. David
