Mario is Missing is a game aimed at a young audience, to help them learn a bit of history and geography. Mario has been kidnapped and someone has stolen artifacts from around the world. Luigi has to travel to various cities, gather clues to his whereabouts and then using those clues bring Yoshi to the city he is in. When Yoshi is brought to the city, they must find the artifacts and return them to the proper location, but first they have to answer questions about the artifact. The questions range from when it was created, to whom created it, and even some technical questions like how tall it is. When I played it as a young boy I felt it was the best game ever, but I loved learning about the world and SNES was the best system out there. Even though there isn't another game out there on the current gen systems that will educate quite like this one, alot of young children who have played the new systems might not like playing such an old game. I still plug mine in to play, but I can't for too long because the largest glaring weaknesses of the game is the repetivness, and the lack of replay value. It is the same song and dance over and over, so for adults, it woudl get boring quickly. The biggest problem would be getting the younger kids of today to play it. All in all it is a solid education game for the young child. It isn't violent or grotesque in anyway, just good clean education.
This is a great game for someone trying to learn Geography. A good game that requires players to travel the world and do research to gain clues to find Mario.
Its unlike what you would think of a mario game.its educational and has some pretty neat elements to the game which makes it fun.find clues and find mario.
I just listed this game and many others on ebay, I bought it for my nephew 2 years ago, he loved it and played it time and time again..the few times i watched i was surprised to see u learn about cities such as Paris, while identifying famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, while at the same time entertaining! GOOD GAME
A TAKE ON WHERE IN THE WORLD IN CARMEN SANDIAGO, BUT VERY HARD TO FOLLOW AT FIRST. THE SEVEN YEAR OLD IS NOT VERY HAPPY WITH IT, ALITTLE BEYOND HIM, AND NOT TRUE TO MARIO STANDARDS FOR GAMING, MORE EDUCATIONAL.
