I'm a carpenter and I use these guns every day.
If you're looking for perfection in a tool you won't be dissapointed in these two guns.
I've worked with other drill combos and they just don't hold a candle up to the Makita set.
Spend a little more and be happy a lot longer.
I use this product on a day to day basis. Has plenty of power and long battery life. Have tried many other brands and on this particular product I like the Makita. The price was also good.
I bought the drill/impact diver kit and while the drill works great I just cant say enough about the 1/4" impact diver; at first I thought I got the wrong tool due t it's size but once I used it I found it pulls down about 110 ft. lbs of torque. It will break loose almost any bolt with in reason and will even snap a 1/4"x20 stainless bolt if you push it. These tools are some of the most lightweight tools Ive ever used; even the battery last for days. I could not find it cheaper anywhere else. *****
This was for my husband for Christmas! He is very pleased with it and is already getting a lot of use from it.
I bought mine from Home Depot for $279.00. Great combo kit. Would certainly recommend it to any homeowner for in-home projects
