uh, another madden 10 review lol

    Created: 09/25/10
Its Madden, still the same game. What I really don't like about this game is, how the computer still covers receivers better than you can. It kinda sucks having to wait til the last second to pickup and defend because if you switch to the defender too soon, you get burnt. Or if you pick up the receiver too soon you don't have much chance of catching it.

Its not like pre 2000 when you had to switch to the defender or receiver immediately to make a play, which is the last time I bought a copy of Madden. Since 2001 til now, Madden is too little kid or crappy player friendly. Even in one of the loading screens it says in one of the descriptions: Take control or just watch the action unfold. Watch the action unfold?? Seriously?? Its a video game, I want to take control of the action at all times.

Since 2001 you have to know when to let the computer play, which is kinda often and way way way more than pre 2000. I won't be buying 2011 just because 2010 doesn't feel much different than 2001, just some extra features that seem to make it lag a little at times. I was also having problems with the auto save feature. It would mess up time to time which would cause my rosters to not load. Then the default rosters would load and auto save, thus causing me to loose all my created players.

If your a noob at video games then you will probably love Madden 2001-2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015. I don't expect it to change anytime soon because I doubt they will change something that makes them a ton of cash. I'm not even sure the graphics compare to Madden 95 lol and its definitely not as smooth as pre 2000 Madden.

The only way I will ever get excited about Madden or any EA Sports game again is, when they make it 11 on 11 online. I will gladly play offensive/defensive line, or linebacker/tail back, or cornerback/receiver all game.

If they make 5 on 5 NBA Live, I know I will be the most sought after center/power forward in the game. My rebounding ability is second to none.

If they make 9 on 9 Triple play, I know I will bat in the 300's and make defensive gems on a routine basis.

If they make Hockey, I don't know how many people per side in Hockey, I know I will spend plenty of time in the penalty box.

So if anyone important reads this review, please send it to EA Sports so I can start whooping butt in a true team like setting, not 1 on 1.

Madden 10 a winner for me

    Created: 09/17/09
Madden NFL 10 for PS2 may lack the mind-blowing graphics of the newer systems, but if you are willing to sacrifice that for a lower price and the ability to play on PS2, then its a great fit. In addition to new features like the custom right analog stick and that "Fight for the Fumble" mini-game, there have been minor changes and updates to Superstar mode and Franchise mode as well. Also, I think the kick meter is a little more touchy.

If you don't expect the high end graphics, Madden 10 for PS2 is a fine next installment to the Madden series. There is a lot to do in the game- and many areas I have not yet begun to explore.

    another madden

The gameplay is more realistic but at the same time its just another madden. A nice new feature tho is the hit stick goes farther in depth and allows you to do more with your players. graphics for ps2 anr not improving, so i need to upgrade, worth the money tho if u like updated rosters and starting a new frachise.

    Madden 2010 (EA Sports)

    Created: 10/22/10
This is sequel to the "Madden" series which has been the leading football game for many platforms.

I find this version very slow loading, and a unusual demand on the CD reader. When idle the game automatically goes to a "Demo" which is annoying.

Game play is acceptable, but advanced features are confusing.

The gameplay screen is cluttered. Info boxes (such timers) are in the way of advancing plays when in minigames.

There is no clear "season mode" meaning you cant win a superbowl. The majority of games are exibition and multiplayer.

The team rankings and stats dont reflect a true win-loss record. they should be updated after a win/loss. Ive played over 20 games with the Falcons and still the record is 11-5

Overall this is a fun game, the graphics are decent, and gameplay is acceptable, but can be annoying.

Love the Offense and Defensive plays in Madden 2010.

    Created: 04/19/11
I've always love playing madden great graphics and sound bites from commentaries. Like the offensive and defensive formations and also choosing to take my team to the superbowl in Franchise mode. Its fun trading players trying to max out the salary cap. It makes you fill like what owning a team feels like, ok, maybe not. But its still a great game to play.
