MacGyver - The Complete Series (2007, DVD)

I like the complete series Dvd box set because it offers the best opportunity to obtain one of the most Awesome shows of the 80'S and 90's, Into a Great collection. It Has My Greatest Hero Of all time in it, MacGyver Staring Richard Dean Anderson. I beleive he is the greatest hero even more than comic heroes because he uses no conventional weapons. His Mind is the deadliest Weapon he carries. Using his mind, and his Swiss Army Knife, piece of chewing gum, the wrapper, and a roll of ductape, and things he finds along the way on his missions or escapes. All these Items Carried in his backpack get him out of nearly all situations with out deadly force. So if you wana Get a chance to watch one of televisions American legends, then your never going to go wrong buying this DVD collection. I cant find anything i dont like about it.

This is an awesome collection to have if you’re a MacGyver fan. This was one of the best shows to hit the airwaves in the 80's and 90's. Nothing like this horrible reality stuff that’s on TV now. Richard Dean Anderson is truly one of the BEST TV actors of all time in this show.

I am a HUGE fan and I bought the seasons one by one on DVD as they were released. These were about $40.00 each for all 7 seasons but I didn’t know a few months later they were going to be released in a box set (much cheaper this way) I also didn’t know there were 2 made for TV MacGyver movies either. These are only available in the box set (the complete series) I HAD to see these movies, so I decided to but the complete seasons and sell my old ones. If you like the show and want to buy them on DVD, this is the set to buy. You will save money and get the 2 movies that are NOT available anywhere else. As always EBay is the BEST place to find these for a great price!! I saved about $40.00 off the retail price. Highly recommended!!!

MacGyver - The Complete Series

This is one of the best purchases that I have made in TV Series DVD's. I know
that some gave a bad reveiw on the packaging of a series of this quality. It
really isn't that bad. They made it compact for a 39-disc set. There are no extras, such as commentary, but there are the two movies included, but who needs
extras with 7 wonderful seasons to watch??!!! I enjoyed this show when it first aired, and was disappointed when it was over!! Every show is filled with excitment, and wondering what MacGyver will think of next to save the day!! It makes you think, will this really work??!! Action, Excitment, Drama, Comedy,
everything you could ask for in a show, this is it!!! Richard Dean Anderson is
MacGyver!! No other actor could be better!!! Well, I have to get back to watching the rest of the shows, 139 episodes!! WoW!!! :D

MacGyver - TCS They Need To Re-release Bonus Disc, soon

My Cousin and I had been anticipating the Release of The Complete Series of MacGyver for quite some time, because we automaticaly asumed the Two TV Movies (MacGyver - Lost Treasure of Atlantis & MacGyver - Trail to Doomsday) would be included. But, the Set was taken Off Paramout's Release Schedule at one point, which was disapointing. But, it was put back on the Schedule for Release on October 16th, 2007, which was awesome! I got the 39-Disc Set on Christmas of 2007 and was very pleased. Almost immedietlly after opening the set I grabbed the Bonus Disc from the Second Section of the Set and inspected it; there were minor scatches on the Never-Before-Released Disc which didn't bother me becasue I knew they were so minor my DVD Player would play the BD (Bonus Disc) flawlesly without any skipping, which it did. But, when we went to watch Lost Treasure of Atlantis at My Aunt and Uncle's it Skipped at the End of the film, which was disheartening. So, months later I put the Disc in my Computer Drive (It can Play DVDs) to do somthing with it and I Ejected to find it Scartched it a little more. So, From now on I am very carful in handling the Bonus Disc, because you cannot purchase it aside from The Complete Series set. My point being: CBS/Paramount NEEDS to Re-Release the MacGyver TeleFilms Disc on its own!!!

Oldie but goodie

This is a great series if you are an older person that enjoyes gadets and not guns. For MacGyver there usually alway a way out or being able to provide for himself whenever it was called for. The product was ok even though the disks have something (spot of glue) on them that for the most part you will have to remove the spots or they will either skip or not play at all. I won this Complete MacGyver series at auction and was lucky enough to win it for a lot less than most were buying the set either retail or from a seller directly. So far I have watched two seasons and have only had a few problems with the glue or whatever on a few disk that wouldn't play. I am looking forward to viewing all the rest of the seasons and the two movies that are included in the set.
