I bought this amp as a replacement for a kicker 750.1 that fried internally. Since money has become an issue, I decided to get the cheaper MTX since I have had good experiences with their amps in the past and I was blown away that this one being almost 300 watts less (birthsheet ratings, I think Kicker lies) was much louder and clearer than the Kicker with similar settings. If you are looking for a decent size sub amp to push a sub or two ( I use 2 Kicker L7 8's) this one will not disappoint or break the bank.
The JH600 is an extremely powerful and clear amplifier, surprising considering the very low cost. I drive an 06 G35 premium, it has the bose system. I have replaced the heat unit with a Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD, and added this JH600 amplifier, along with two MTX Thunder 5500 series subwoofers. The settings are set very low on the amplifier, and I do not send any boosted signals from my head unit to the amp, and the subwoofers absolutely SLAM. Definitely worth the very SMALL investment!
This amplifier is a great addition to the car and packs a powerful punch when hooked up with an equal powered subwoofer. The connections are perfect and clean looking compared to 70% of all other "cheap" amps. This amplifier is definitely worth looking at.
this amp rocks. The tuning allows you to tweek just the sound you want. Just the right amount of power to run a good pair of MTX subs. Great Combo.
It pushes so much power I actually over did it on one of my subs and over heated a voice coil but it was funny in a sense but make sure you know the limits of your sub and the strength of this amp. it's over kill for a beginner's amp
