We chose the Cougar over the Cheetah because of the extra baffle, less noise feature the Cougar offered. A friend has the Cheetah & the noise drives her crazy! The Cougar is not silent, but no more annoying than the carpet vacuum cleaner & if the amount of dust in the room is reduced or eliminated - who can't stand a little noise. It seems to work well, my only issue, why didn't we do this sooner?! I would advise anyone who is contemplating buying a pellet stove to spend the extra $200 & get the ash vac!

i love this vacuum, its great no dirt puffs out of the other end like regular vacuums. its such an easy job now to clean our two pellets stoves. will buy another vacuum from same maker for regular vacuuming.............highly recommend to anyone with a wood burning stove, pellet stove. everyone needs one of these for ash cleaning.

This vacuum is everything that you said it would be and more. Very powerful and such an easy way to clean the ash from the stove. Absolutely love it. I have been recommending it to all my friends.

This item is everything it is advertised to be. I was using a Shop Vac before the purchase and it was clumsy and looked terrible on the hearth, so I had to put it away and drag it back out each time I cleaned my pellet stove. Also the Shop Vac didn't trap the fine dust, but sent a cloud of it into the air to settle on the furniture and floor. With the Love-Less I leave it on the hearth and it looks "integrated" with the stove and no more mess with the dust. It is much more nimble making cleaning a lot easier. Now that I have one, I won't be without one. Great product.

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A FIREPLACE VAC. IT WOULD SAVE ME SO MUCH TIME AND MESS. I BOUGHT A TOP OF THE LINE VAC SO I WOULD BE SATISFIED. THIS PRODUCT JUST DOESN'T WORK. IT CLOGS WITH THE SMALLEST PIECES OF ASH. ALSO, THE FILTERS CLOG UP CONSTANTLY AND YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE PRIMITIVE PROCESS OF SHAKING ASH OFF THE FILTER. THEN, IT CLOGS AGAIN. I HAD TO CLEAN THE FILTER 4 TIMES WHILE REMOVING 1 GAL. OF ASH. FINALLY THE ENTIRE HOSE CLOGGED. I GAVE UP! I'VE GIVEN UP ON FIREPLACE VACS.
