Well basically looking for speakers for a surround sound system for my room. Bought these based on the fact the description says they can be used for a computer or TV/Gaming system. Recieved them and the setups is as follows... All speakers connect by USB to the Subwoofer (cords barely long enough) then the sub connects to Receiver/TV by single sound wire. This means the sound you get is the same in all 6 speakers rather then true surround sound as it states it is.
I didn't hook them up to the computer but I assume these are mainly computer surround sound speakers. Bottom line, dont buy them if your hooking it up to a TV.
For the price, these speakers are amazing. They provide clear sounds with deep, rich bass - just what I was looking for. Very easy to set up and stylish as well. It is a perfect addition to any small room and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for inexpensive speakers.
great speakers, the sound is very balance and clear... the sub has a very nice deep sound on it. there is a 3.5mm jack for the headset base control for the sub the wires are long, good speakers for watching movie and playing music!
Best ever.. These speakers are really powerful, it can shake my window and table. I played battlefield bad company 2 with it, I could tell where the enemies were by just listening through the speakers. Amazing. Even though front right speaker broke, I got a replacement. Amazing performance not gonna lie.
So I just got my new Logitech Surround Sound Z506 Speaker System today and I must say I am very impressed all around with my expirience so far. Not only are they sleek and stylish yet simple at the same time but the all around sound is amazing. The bass is deep and travels a long distance and what I like is the bottom sub concept not to mention you can stand a good 4-5+ feet away and still feel the breathing of the port hole as the bass hits. As for the mid range to high levels I must say that in my opinion they could not have been much clearer. Now I am speaking from my expirience of hooking the system up to my LAPTOP and SMART PHONE. I have not hooked them up to my Television nor Gaming System and so I can not speak on behalf of that but I will admit that this is def a great value for the price and I would recommend it to anyone in whom has there eye on this system!
