|Take control of young Simba and guide him to adulthood in DISNEY'S THE LION KING: Simba's Mighty Adventure. Simba must navigate through 10 levels, where he must collect all of the stars that are scattered about. If he can collect all of the pieces of the lion amulet, Simba can participate in one of four mini-games like Bug Drop, Bug Tennis, and Hunt the Bugs. However, a large number of enemies stand in his way, including hyenas, scorpions, snakes, and vultures. Luckily, Simba can pounce on the enemies to get rid of them or roar to scare them off. If your friends want to play along, they can join you in a game of Tag via a link cable. Help Simba become an adult and protect the pride lands in DISNEY'S THE LION KING: Simba's Mighty Adventure.|

The game is fun and there are spots where you can stop and get directions on the controls. Harder to control for younger kids since it's a 3D environment. Kids will need some assistance in getting started...remind them to work slowly through the game and listen for the clues. Game is pretty non-violent.... some animated violence and Simba "roars" to get rid of bugs and small animals in his path (they just vaporize).
The previous Lion King game for the NES, Master System, SNES, Genesis, GameBoy, and GameGear followed the story line very well, but this updated version for GameBoy Color and Playstation has even more content from the first movie and even goes into content from the second movie. Some of the animation for both adult Simba and cub Simba was recycled from the previous The Lion King video game. During levels, Simba can collect star-shaped tokens. In the Game Boy Color version of the game, there was only one piece of level music.
I personally am a big fan of the lion king. After the excellent Lion King SNES game, I thought I'd give this a try. Unfortunately, this game has a bunch of flaws and falls way short of the first. This game is a 3D platformer. Simba is controlled in a very conventional way. You run through levels with a Roar, Pounch and roll attack. The control feels very stiff and could be better. This does not ruin the game experience, but it detracts from it. The game goes through the story from the first and underrated second movie. People who haven't seen these movies will have huge trouble following the plot, because of the poor story telling. This is an average movie game. If you are a fan of Lion King, you may find some enjoyment out of it. 6.5/10
I love The Lion King, and this game is fun. The graphics are very good, and the mini games throughout it are fun to play. The controls aren't the best though, and sometimes Simba takes too long to turn around or move in the direction he needs to go. I like how characters and scenes from both the first and second Lion King movies are included in the game. I do wish the game was a bit longer because it didn't take me long to complete it, and some levels are especially short.
the is great for kids, easy for them to control.
you travel through pridelands, to elephant grave yards.
there is mini bonus games, with friends of simba's
like timon,pumbaa,kiara, and rafiki.
over all a good game
