Excellent product for the price with no problems

I was in the market for a new router as my old Linksys was having issues. I have had it for about 5 years. I wanted a fast, reliable and long lasting router that would allow me to play games online, watch movies and keep multiple devices attached to the internet while not decreasing the speed of the router. This modem seemed like the best product and I can assure you it is. I have had no problems at all with it. The setup was quick and easy and I am used to working with such devices since I work in the IT field. This is a very user friendly router and once you have it set up there is nothing else you need to do. It also allows you to setup a guest secured network so your friends can sign onto the internet and not be connected to your specific network. So they can't access your files if you are sharing any.

easy setup with the genie product is fast a lot of extra features for Wi-Fi users got at very good price on eBay cant complain about it only thing is it doesn't have the service area that it says it has from what I had before this is great I have a lot of gadgets running off this printer phones PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and my laptops never gave me any problems yet I would recommend it to anyone

Great value for a solid, dependable home network.

I love this router! I have set up several wireless networks in the town I live in and a few of my own as well. I purchased this router for a friend. It is the second one that I've purchased and have had good luck with both. The Apps for Android and/or Apple products that allow you to see what devices are connected to your network, and limit their access to the whole internet or individual websites, is great for a family with net savvy children. I can disconnect my son's Xbox from the network while I'm at work.
Although the unit did require a firmware update prior to being "App enabled", it is still a relatively simple process to install and setup this router. The speed and range of the signals is greatly improved from my previous router.
The guest network option is a nice feature if you have frequent visitors that have wireless devices.

Fast, high range router.

If you need a high speed router this one does a great job a streaming a 1080p THX movie on Vudu. Also it has a powerful transmitting area. I get a full signal from where my computer is. I probably wouldn't pay full price for this router but it is easy to find one discounted on Ebay. You can also connect a hard drive to it to use as storage but I haven't done that. It also has some advanced features when you download the latest software upgrade.

Beautifully designed, feature rich, lightning fast wireless N router.

I purchased this router to upgrade my old Linksys G router. I found that this router was very easy to set up. It has many advanced features and is very fast. Streams without buffering. Very sleek and attractive design. Have had no issues to deal with at all. Guest network connection is nice, my friends can connect to the internet without needing my password and cannot access any devices on my network. Its range is impressive and its signal strength is strong up to about forty yards where it falls of sharply. Have not yet needed to reset the router at all as I did with my old G router. I am delighted with its performance and price. I look forward to many years of lightning fast, worry free service. I'm sure that this was the right choice and I am glad to have saved money buying it refurbished. It's condition and performance was and is flawless.
