Creative, Entertaining + Educational= Awesome!

This is a great phonics dvd. My kids (5 y.o., 4 y.o., 16 mo. old boys) don't watch any TV. A DVD has to be REALLY good to keep their attention. They absolutely love the Leap Frog phonics series (Letter Factory & Word Factory). They've watched them many times. They know the songs from the dvd & sing them and the letter sounds every once in awhile. As a teacher and homeschool mom, the phonics is solid as well. There are no "lazy" sounds like "tuh" for "t". Super creative, entertaining, and educational DVD! You won't regret buying it.

A GREAT LEARNING TOOL!

This is an awesome learning tool. My daughter just turned 3. She has known her alphabet, numbers, colors & shapes for more than a year! I have tried to sit with her and go over the letter sounds - phonics. She would lose interest after around the letter D or E. In 2, days we have watched Letter Factory 4 times and she is telling me what sounds the letters make. We sing the song! I'm not saying she knows all of her letter sounds because of watching this 4 times but we have a great start! Leap Frog makes learning fun for children! I highly recommend this to anyone with small children. I'm sure that it would even make a difference to a child as young as 18-24 months - I wish I had discovered the Leap Frog Learning DVD series a year ago!

Best Preschool Video - LeapFrog: Letter Factory

I am a homeschooling mother of six. This video, in my opinion, is the best video for preschoolers when it comes to learning letter sounds and learning to read. It has engaging, well-made animation. This, in addition to clearly presented concepts of letter sounds, makes it a fun, easy way for preschoolers to learn their basic letter sounds. My children have taught themselves to read at a first grade level by this video, along with the next in the series, LeapFrog: Talking Words Factory. When we are ready to start official Kindergarten in our homeschool, our children are already reading at a late Kindergarten to First Grade Level, all from only watching these two videos.

The premise is a little frog, Tad, going to the Letter Factory where his dad works, and visiting all the little letters learning their sounds. For example, in the "a" room, all the little "a" letters are in a classroom. A funny little monster pops in, causing the little "a" letters to say their sound "a"! There is a little song "The a says "a", the a says "a", every letter makes a sound, the a says "a"!

I recommend this video to everyone I know with preschoolers. It is excellent!

LeapFrog:Letter Factory

Having a preschooler learn to recognize and sound out letters is a good thing and when it's done in an entertaining way, it's great. We have other LeapFrog videos as well,I recommend also the LeapFrog video, "The Letter Factory" Let's face it, if it holds the child's interest....It's like not putting a book down till you finish it!I think the LeapFrog series is in the top five of children's learning videos.

LEAPFROG LETTER Factory-GREAT INVESTMENT!!!

I bought the LEAPFROG LETTER Factory for my daughter and I must say this was a very good investment. Not only did it keep her attention but it also kept the attention of my 2 younger children as well. What was bought to help one child with letter sounds turned in to a DVD that the entire family could watch, learn and enjoy. I intend on buying more LEAPFROG DVD's in the near future. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS DVD TO ANY FAMILY WITH YOUNG CHILDREN!!!
