Packed with passionate love songs in the Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion vein, Fabian takes the power ballad one step further. Her voice and music are best described as dramatic, the songs here ranging from catchy tailor-made Top-40 dance tracks such as "Till I Get Over You," and "I Will Love Again," to power ballads such as "Adagio," which appears here both in English and Italian.Fabian's voice is clear and amazingly strong, ranging from a near-whisper to a powerful belt. The lyrics are non-offensive and inspirational in a broken-hearted sort of way. Fans of Celine Dion and Mariah Carey will find Lara Fabian the ideal addition to their record collections.

Silky smoothe vocals from Lara Fabian !!

Created: 04/06/11
Never heard of Lara Fabian before I heard her do a duet with Josh Groban. Phenomenal pipes! Best way to describe her is she does power ballads, like Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion in their hey-day. Read some online reviews of her, appears others think the same thing, similar to both Babs and Celine too. Interesting....Great range. Suprised USA has not heard of this French singer ....if you get a chance to see her in concert, I plan to...then do it. You will not be dissappointed. Plan to get her "NINE" DVD to see and hear more from her. Maybe in the more current context, Christina Aguillerra has better pipes....but I think Lara Fabian is more silky smoothe in her delivery and finish. Get this album !

Best Singer as closely matched to Celine

Created: 02/01/08
I have been listening to this artist for about 4 years now. The romance that this artist and the mood that is portrayed with her singing ability are second to none. She is currently working a a new album in (3) different languages. If you get a second listen to some small takes on her music. I am sure that you will find her voice and songs come from the heart about love and how to love. BUY the CD you will not be dissapointed.

Lara Fabian CD

Created: 05/01/07
I bought this CD because someone broke my original. I love it because of the variety of songs and Lara's ability to sing. She sounds like a blend of Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion, taking the best qualities of each. Come to think of it, she even looks like that, hmmm.
