The LG Versa is an attractive touch-screen handset with an animated user interface, plus it has options for additional modules. The Versa also has a full HTML browser with Flash Lite support, EV-DO, GPS, a 2.0-megapixel camera, and a music player. It comes with a QWERTY keyboard module, which doubles as a case.
The LG Versa suffers from a poor Web-browsing experience, and the screen can be sometimes unresponsive in certain applications. There is no Wi-Fi, and Visual Voice Mail has a monthly cost.
If you can live with the clunky Web browser, the LG Versa is a very good touch-screen phone with the added versatility of optional modules.

Easy to use touch screen phone with loads of software. Fun to play with. Has a solid camera with video recording, HTML browser and a flash player for watching videos online. YouTube videos work great! The detachable keyboard is a cool optional feature. I personally don't like the look of the keyboard, so I use the touch screen QWERTY text board program right on the phone.
I give this phone a 5.0 because some days you may not be in thw VERSA mood more in the Dare mood, so you can take off the keyboard, and essentially have a dare, the only different being that there is another screen on the keyboard of the phone, and it makes it have a qwerty keyobard. One of my friends has this phone, and he absolutely loves it, the 3.2 camera I think it is gets the job done and with an sd card you can store more photos. I have seen the versa qwerty case, qwerty board, etc whatever you want to call it, survive many drops, MANY, and yet well protects the phone. my now ex girlfriend had this phone before the dog got ahold of it and broke the screen, now is back to her old phone env2 maroon.
this is verizon's 3gs iphone, only beter it comes with a qwerty.
AFTER I MENTIONED THE 3GS IPHONE, I HAVE THE CHOCOLATE TOUCH. AND MY UNCLE HAS FASCINATE, MUST SAY THAT THOSE ARE THE CLOSEST TO IPHONE
PLEASEEEE READ!!!!!! this phone is okay....
I've had this phone for a little while now, and its not a very well-made phone.
The QWERTY attachment keyboard is fine, except for the fact that it makes your phone so much more bigger, so it sticks 10 feet out of your pocket! its embarrassing and looks like you're carrying a brick around in your pants. and it stops working! half of my buttons on my QWERTY attachment stopped working. it stinks, and defeats the whole purpose in having one!
The touch phone keyboard stinks aswell!! i can't even use the virtual keyboard on my phone. if you press one button it either doesn't press, or presses the wrong key. so i have to use the other virtual one. i hate it with a passion! im so sick of this phone. the top of mine is coming off, which makes my screen mess up, and i constantly get stabbed because the screen is pointy and sharp and hurts!
The camera on this phone IS TERRIBLE! i cannot stress enough how crappy it is. when you take pictures, it has lines through it! or it turns out blurry, and you have to wait forever for the picture to take.
I know that this phone isn't a smart phone, or a professional camera, but i expected a little more than what this phone turned out to be.
now for the pros.
this phone is a good quality phone, it's hard to find a phone that reaches the standards of it. It is pretty durable, especially the touch screen. because i do tend to drop my phone A LOT, and since the touch screen isn't glass, it is very durable. the memory of this phone is AWESOME! it can hold around 800 pictures in the phone alone, without the use of a memory card. you can lock it while you send texts, so butt dialing rarely happens. The battery life is OK, but it could last longer. but, the battery drains really fast if you switch from the attachable keyboard to the regular back.
So, I know that this phone isn't the iPhone, or a smartphone, but i dont even use the internet anyways so i don't care about apps, or if this phone can even use it. the little time i had internet it was pretty alright. the camera STINKS, and the screen messes up and the attachable keyboard messes up. Don't get this phone if you expect a lot out of it, because if you're tied in for a while it blows. rethink about getting this phone.
It's a great phone, with the exception of the battery life. I'm not sure if mine seems less than ample because I bought it used, or because that's just the way it is, but I would prefer a longer life. Other than that, it has been a great phone! Easy to navigate, very versatile!!! (Hence, the name "versa" :-) The touch screen has a little bit of a delay, but no more than other touch phones similar to this model. It's perfect for people, like me, who want a good texting phone that's a little more modern, but don't need a smartphone yet! I would definitely recommend it!!
I loved this phone at first good amount of features and no data package. Verizon discontinued it after around a 6 month run should have been a warning. My sister and i both bought this phone. On month 13 of course out of warrenty hers broke, it turned itself off and would not come back on. When we tried to power back on all it would do is show verzion screne and reboot itself repeadedly until you remove battery. Verizon said they couldnt repair it. My versa's original battery only holds a half charge, so i bought a new battery. now after owning for 19 months in order to charge phone i have to remove battery, then put batt back in power it on completely then plug it in or it wont charge. My touch screen also just quit working a few days ago. I just bought a new phone to replace this one. Great phone till it breaks, which it will. sorry to anyone i may have reccomended this problematic phone to in the past.
