The LG Tritan has a generous size touch-screen display, a handy navigation joystick, a really great QWERTY keyboard, a 3.5-millimeter headset jack, a document viewer, a full HTML browser with Flash Lite support, and a 3-megapixel camera. It also has very good call quality.
The LG Tritan's touch-screen interface takes some acclimation, and we wish the navigation joystick were designed a bit better.
The LG Tritan is a great multimedia touch-screen phone with a nice full keyboard for messaging.

This is by far the best phone I have ever had. The full keyboard makes texting and typing so easy! The touch screen is really handy too, you can flip through different screens, drag items, scroll, you name it. And if you'd rather not use the touch screen there's a button that acts as a mouse that is handy too. It is super easy to use all the features. And the camera takes pictures better than my digital camera does, excellent quality if you set it to the highest resolution. The battery doesn't run down to quickly either. I would like to be able to personalize it a little more, but I wouldn't trade all the other features for that. I've used BlackBerry phones, touch screen phones without a keyboard, and phones with a keyboard but no touch screen and this LG Tritan is better than all of those other phones! Also, this phone is sturdy and made with quality, it doesn't feel flimsy like some other phones. Overall, this is the best phone ever!
The Tritan is a complete package phone. It has a great camera, really nice touch screen, slide out qwerty keyboard, good and loud speaker, and it feels really good in your hand. It's a solid piece of electronics, you can just tell when you pick it up.
The touch screen is so smooth, the action is unbelievable. It's incredibly sensitive, yet not overly. The menu navigation is a little odd, but it was similar to my other LG phone I had a while back, which was the Glimmer. I think it's just LG's style, it is fairly intuitive, I was just used to using another phone for a while, which was the Delve, and forgot how LG's menus were.
The slide out keyboard is not something I bought the phone for, I'm not really into that. But I do like how you can just leave it closed and use the touch screen keys. It even enlarges the letter that your finger is on so you know you're not making a typo, very nice!
The web browswer is really good as well, although google apps do not work, you have to use the webpage version of google maps, for example. But the browswer actually has tabs, so you can have more than one page open at once and switch back and forth. And of course, the little joystick thing is very weird to me because I have never seen this on a phone before, but it is nice. Especially on the browser. Using the Samsung Delve, previously, I would sometimes have a problem clicking on a link with the browser because I wasn't using a stylus and my finger is too big to hit just a little space on the screen. The Tritan's joystick is like a mouse though, and you will not have that problem anymore!
Overall I'd say this phone is easily an 8 out of 10. My only gripe is that I don't like where they put the screen lock button, which is on the side of the phone closed to the volume controls. I think it should be on top, like the Delve, and most smart phones.
This is my second LG Triton. I bought the first one used and it lasted almost two years. I just bought a brand new one (along with brand new battery and charger) and I am thrilled! I know most people are wanting phones that are like having a computer in your pocket (G3 & G4's), but if you are looking for a nice simple phone that is a BREEZE to text on, takes fairly decent pics and videos, and costs a fraction of those new phones, this is the phone you've been looking for! My son has a new phone (3G) without a slider and it is very difficult for me to text using the touch screen. Even though his can do a lot more (apps and such) than my "old" Triton, it also has to have a much more expensive data plan. The Triton can run on the 100mb plan all month without coming close to any overages. The battery life is also amazing! As long as I'm not doing a lot of texting or FB'ing, I can go as long as 5 days without having to charge it! It has the easy edge features, so you can check the weather and your email, etc. The large touch screen is fabulous and you can actually SEE what you're doing. While some people like small phones -which is funny considering how many people buy otterboxes - this phone has some "bulk" to it and for me, it makes it much easier to hang on to. Those little slim phones fall right out of my hand!
I know I won't be able to use my Triton forever because I bet everything will be at least 3G soon, but I'm going to enjoy it while I can. My husband's due for a new one (the first one we bought for him was used also and he's having some issues with the "mouse" button), and I will certainly be buying him a new Triton! We both love them.
This phone is great! Fun to use, easy to get emails, great for music, and camera works good too. Battery life is average when surfing the web a lot.
I like the features the product offers. The dual feature of touch screen and key pad are awesome. The programs are also good, in terms of screen savers, phone capabilities etc. The phone can be used to listen to music with or without head phones. The downside to this phone is the fact that the touch screen is not sensitive enough. You often times have to touch icons 10X just to get them to perform and thats not good! It doesnt appear that the device will have a long life span. It appears that ability to perform will become increasingly more difficult over time. Meaning, i wont get money's worth.
