T-Mobile Service is Good in LA where I work.
The phone is decent but lacks some things I really need:
NO FLash! on the camera
Phone does not automatically pair with my bluetooth when I turn the bluetooth on
OR especially when I get a call and I want to switch to bluetooth ...it wont let me. You have to have it already active.
Also the voice record does not use the bluetooth.
These are features that I had and used regularly with a non-touch screen phone!
Battery life is good and usually lasts throughout the workday.
camera is decent when you have enough light.
USB xfer of pics, videos and sound is easy
and ability to text images to email is a plus.

It lags a little bit, but i haven't had to many probloms with it other then the size of the screen. The wifi hotspot is extremly helpful for my computer, the 600 MHZ prosseser slows it down a little but not to much. The screen is a little small, texting is hard and the keybord lags but it's voice-to-text works fine speck nice and clear. So over all this is a nice entrey level phone for talking and data speeds are ok but texting is anoher thing (p.s I wrote this review on my phone and it toke me 30 mins to finich and no auto correct.

Let me tell you, this phone is only good for you if you're not tech-savvy. Besides its features, it's basically the worst phone ever. It will change settings on its own. I like my phone time out to be set at 15 seconds, but there are times when it automatically switches to 2 minutes. Not only that, but I have had so many issues with text messages (SMS). Half of the time that my friends send picture messages, I won't receive it until about 30 minutes later, or I won't receive it at all. Along with text messages, sometimes I don't receive any text messages, I constantly have to get through customer service to get it fixed. It's such a hassle. Another problem is that sometimes I will plug in headphones to listen to music, and once I unplug it, the icon of headphones is still shown and that results in me not being able to talk on my phone unless it's through a mic. In addition, another issue with this phone is that sometimes it goes into EMERGENCY MODE. Furthermore, sometimes I will want to look in my photo gallery and no photos will show up, I don't understand. Oh yeah, and sometimes if I'm texting multiple people at the same time, sometimes the phone will "spaz" out and messaging will foreclose or instead of seeing who I'm texting, it only shows the phone number. With all these problems, I always have to Google and find out how to fix it. I honestly hate this phone. The battery life isn't great either. It'll show a full bar of battery, but once I check in my phone settings, it'll say 80%, so inaccurate. Or the battery bar will be 3/4 full, but it's actually 50% left. Such a stupid phone.

Purchased for my spouse. It has a smaller form that fits in her purse pocket.
It is a great price on an entry level Android phone. The battery lasts for days but she doesn't use it much.
This is a perfect phone for checking email and navigation.

My old Android phone got a little wet so it was time to upgrade. Coming from a G1 to the Optimus was a great move. The Optimus is a great value Android device, the OS runs smooth as butter and it's up-to-date enough to run any app in the Android Market. Battery life has been awesome, even with moderate use and wi-fi enabled most of the time I've repeatedly gone 3-4 days without charging and still using my phone just as I normally would. It's got all the smartphone bells and whistles you could hope for and for a very reasonable price.
