The LG Neon is stylish and compact, with a spacious keyboard, a music player, a megapixel camera, and good call quality. It's affordable as well.
The LG Neon's display is a touch screen, but only for the phone dialer application. It only has tri-band GSM, the photo quality is average, and the EDGE speed is too slow for over-the-air music downloads.
Despite a few quirks, the LG Neon is a good simple messaging phone from AT&T.

I have had this phone for about a year now. And have discovered several problems with it but first the pro's of this phone...
1. Qwerty keyboard is okay and buttons are decent size.
2. Capable of writing up to 10 pages of text not just 160 characters
3. Calling quality is pretty clear when it connects
1. It takes two tries to call someone sometimes. The call just will not go through the fist time.
2. When writing a message and you receive one while you are writing. The cursor will move to random places and put characters in the wrong places.
3. It has a very limited memory capacity for messages.
4. My phone randomly shut off when the battery is less the half drained. In the middle of a text the screen will just go black.
My advice would be to not buy this phone unless it is your only option. It has to many problems and the cons out way the pros.
Phone is nice looking and easy to navigate. It is an unlocked AT&T phone and I am using with T-Mobile service. It takes a little bit of configurations for picture messaging and t-zones to function, but it was very easy thanks to the T-Mobile website along with Tmoatt.com which I had found from a search. They give you step by step instructions on how to configure phone settings to work properly! Phone itself is a little bit smaller than I thought with small QWERTY buttons but no biggie for me. Also, be aware the touch screen function is for phone dialer only and QWERTY is the only texting feature! Overall, very pleased!
This Cell Phone is an excellent cell phone to own. Especially if you send and receive a lot of text messages then this is the cell phone for you. It is a Slider type cell phone which means that the key pad for texting slides out of the side of this cell phone for easy access. This is by far the top of the line AT&T Go Phone or pay as you go cell phone that they make. The Control Panel Icons are easy accessable as well as very large and brightly lite so that you can see theat any time night or day. The display screen is very large and has a very sharp and clear display at all times. This is an ideal phone for people of all ages. I give this cell phone 5 stars.
I bought the Phone three weeks ago for my daughter and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan. She loves the slide out keyboard for texting. The menu is easy to follow, and you can get to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget. You can pay as you go or set up a program with AT&T. We have the unlimited texting per month... perfect for her.
This telephone is really simple it has good sound and reception. When you want to text just slide it and you have a full keyboard also you can dial from the screen will show all the numbers. but overall I like it for texting
