Light, thin phone with an excellent screen (but some drawbacks too).

The LG Marquee has a bit of a mixed reputation among Sprint users, but after using it for the past few weeks, I'd like to say I'm happy with it. It's comfortably thin and light, and feels crisply responsive to input (albeit, this is from my perspective as an upgrading former WM6 user).

Still, I have some criticisms, including a difficult initial setup was quite troublesome, due to multiple glitches encountered migrating from Windows Mobile (hence 2 stars off of "Ease of Use"). Battery life is mediocre, with the phone needing frequent charging with modest usage.

Earlier this month (April), the phone received a minor firmware update, version "LS855ZVC&amp​;quot; (unfortunately, it most likely will never receive an official Android version upgrade, as Sprint is already beginning to phase out this model). While I haven't personally noticed any major changes, other users have reported that it has fixed some of the glitches and stability issues that plagued earlier reviewers of this phone. Overall, I'd say it was a worthwhile purchase.

Great screen, solid Android phone

Although the Marquee can be a little slow in maneuvering between tasks, the screen is gorgeous and call quality is fantastic. This phone is only 3G and has Sprint ID, a system I've never liked, but if you don't have 4G available and don't mind setting up a basic clean interface, it's nice. The camera is good quality, but lags slightly in taking pictures - pretty normal, in my experience, of cell cameras. Overall, I am pleased.

I REALLY LIKE THIS PHONE.I WAS USING AN LG OPTIMUS WHICH WAS NICE BUT IT ONLY HAD A 512MB INTERNAL MEMORY.THE MARQUEE HAS A 2GB MEMORY AND A LARGER SCREEN.

Works as described. Great phone for the price. All the smartphone features for someone who doesn't need the latest technology from last week!

Great phone, great features, great price.

I love the Marquee. It has a large screen but is lightweight. The battery life could be better but I think smart phones just drain the battery quicker because of the frequent use. The internal memory is plenty (my last phone was an Optimus). I highly recommend the Marquee.
