The LG CF360 is a slim and lightweight slider phone. Features include 3G, quad-band support, GPS, a music player, and a 1.3-megapixel camera. Call quality is good.
Photo quality is mediocre, there's no self-portrait mirror or flash, and some of the keys feel flat.
The LG CF360 is a simple midtier phone for an affordable price.

I wasn't happy when I got this phone! I made a claim on my phone insurance through AT&T because my Samsung was swiped; ergo, I needed another phone. I had to make a $50 co-pay to get it AND was told my the insurance company that I wouldn't be able to make another claim "for a while" (whatever that meant. Felt like mom telling me I'd had enough cookies or something). Anyway, the phone came, used looking but refurbished...supposedly. Turns out it wasn't and I had to sit on the phone with a tech to do it myself THEN found out I could have gotten the same phone for less than what I paid AND still been in good standing with the insurance company. I needed a phone though so I kept it.
That being said, this phone is the TOUGHEST I have ever seen!!!! I have dropped it on concrete from waist level a few times (at least once it came apart) and once I even accidently threw it against something; again causing it to come apart (I was throwing a rope and the phone was in my hand, thought I could hold it with fingers I guess). Both times it just snapped right back together. It's had dirt blown on it, been sweat on...etc and comes out like a champ. Of course, the ultimate test for this phone was when it took a ride in the washing machine (forgot it was in my pocket). I took it out, took it apart, let it dry for a day, sprayed it with air in a can, put it on the charger, made a test call and all is fine! Everything works great on it. I CAN'T KILL THIS PHONE! So, if you're hard on things, this may just be the phone for you!
SIGNAL STRENGTH: great CALL QUALITY: excellent. I hear people crisp and clear and they hear me. SPEAKER OPTION: wonderful. I can put the phone on my truck console and carry on conversations. It's clear for a little phone speaker as long as there isn't any competing noise. TEXTING: NOT FUN with this phone! If you are big into texting, get ready to do some finger pecking! No touchscreen or QWERTY here AND the keypad has every other key recessed. CAMERA: At only 1mp/ it's a nice option but it's hardly worth bothering to take any photos with this thing unless you're just taking them to IM to someone else's phone. I have tried sending pix that I took to my email and the resolution is terrible. Has a lot of great features like calculator...etc. One thing I don't like is that if I use an app then get out of it, there is an option bar that pops up on my home screen that I have to opt out of every time I go to use the phone. It's a little annoying. Of course, this whole experience has lead me to do some research on the phone and I learned it does things I never realized and wished it could do. Perhaps a new appreciation for my old weathered but tough phone. I still want that I Phone someday, but will probably keep this one around even when I get it as a trusty back up.
I had the LG Shine first and it worked well. Just didn't like the little joystick. I searched and found this CF360 on Ebay. Won it for only 40 dollars. I put my SIM card in it and it was ready to go. Love it. The camera has less resolution than the Shine, but I don't use it much anyway. A note for those who have trouble removing and inserting the SIM cards... Use a small piece of Scotch Tape. Just stick one end to the back of the card and pull it out! Anyway, I love my CF360. It gets a better signal than the Shine. It has buttons instead of that stupid joystick. It takes the same battery as the Shine, which means I can now have a spare. It's slightly smaller than the shine, which is a plus. Bottom line: Don't sign any more 2-year contracts. Just goto Ebay and find the phone you want, put your SIM card in it and go.
This is a great, nice looking phone. Plays music, can connect to a computer using bluetooth, or optional USB data cable and can also charge from it(microSD card required).
Buttons are smooth and easy to hit (It may depend with finger size though). They light up in white with red or blue detail, depending on your phone's color, and are easy to see.
I recommend getting another SIM card with the phone if you are transferring over to this phone. I had trouble putting my old phone's SIM in and had to go to the AT&T store. They set it up and gave me a free one.
The phones signal is pretty good. Usually at 2 bars at home. Ive seen it go to 5 from home which is really good considering my old phone's signal was weak and sometimes would drop calls or not send texts.
If your a texting person like I am, be warned that this phone does not have an auto erase feature for texts and storage for texts are 150 msgs for the inbox and outbox, but it does have T9 and a text signature. Also be warned that the phone's antenna is at the bottom of the keypad (Noted in the manual also) so you have to be careful not to block it if you are in a weak signal zone.
Overall its a good phone to use
This is a great phone for the price. Easy and intuitive to use. Compact design and an all around good feel to the construction.
The fact that it has a really good MP3 player means my wife doesn't have to carry an extra device when she jogs and she is also able to receive a call even when listening to her music because the headset allows her to hear and answer an incoming call. That's no small deal.
The camera is a plus too.
An all around good choice.
GOOD phone got two these only problem I see is they dont have a zoom on camera and occasionally the 0 button doesnt work but I can turn off/on and it works agian, only had this problem with one I got but I have read others to have the same problem. but still a good phone I have one and I got one for my girlfriend she loves it. good if you dont have to have all those extra's a smart phone has but callin, textin, pictures, videos, and MP3 works well takes up to a 16gb micro sd that comes in handy also but for your basic phone this one rocks! cant go wrong!
