| Building on the success of both LEGO Star Wars videogames, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga enables families to play through the events of all six Star Wars movies in one videogame for the first time ever. From the Trade Federation's "negotiations" with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn in The Phantom Menace to the space battle above Endor in Return of the Jedi, The Complete Saga allows players to kick some brick through 36 Story Mode levels, including Episode II's newly added high-speed pursuit of bounty hunter Zam Wessell. Traveller's Tales has revamped levels from the original LEGO Star Wars to match the gameplay evolutions found in LEGO Star Wars II, and Prequel Trilogy characters can now be mixed and matched with those from the Original Trilogy -- more than 160 in all. Features include new playable characters, an upgraded character customizer, and new bonus levels. | |

Lego Star Wars is a good game, filled with humor based on the scenes from the original series. Also the two player option helps to make this game even more interesting. The game soundtrack follows the well known musics form star wars movies and the graphics are decent for its objectives (lego-like caracters). The game play is good and the option to control other caracters during the game is also interesting as you can use their unique abities to solve problems found in the way.
This game is great! You travel through the 6 Star Wars movies playing as a huge selection of characters and everything is made of lego bricks.
It has great replay value with the "Free Play" mode, where once you have finished a level in "Story" mode, you can go back and play as various other characters who may not have been available in the "Story" mode, each having different abilities which may be useful to unlock new areas or finish objectives.
The only thing I disliked was that the controls for vehicles defaulted to the six-axis "motion" control feature (meaning you needed to tip the controller in the direction you wanted to go and the joystick did nothing). You can turn this off, but it took me a few levels of wondering if there was a glitch before I realized that was what you were supposed to do and that it could be turned off. A simple pop up text box the first time you try to drive a vehicle would have fixed this. And once I figured it out, it was fine.
This really is a fun game for the whole family, my 3 year old daughter loves playing it with me and even though she is obviously a game novice, she does alright and has a great time.
Don't let the "lego" thing fool you though, this is a great game for "real" Star Wars fans too, it;s not just geared for kids. There are loads of humorous mini-movies taken right from the source material, but with humorous changes that sometimes utilize the idea that the universe is made out of lego bricks!
Overall, this is a must have for anyone, its great if you just want to play for a few minutes to try to complete one objective, or if you just want to goof off and ignore the objectives, there are scads of places to explore and things to find.
I also highly recommend the other "lego" games as they are all the same platform and play style.
What a wonderful game for the whole family to play. This title was a little harder to find in stores as it is a little older so eBay was the place to find it. my kids love the LEGO series games and so do I. Offers great game play for even the youngest kids. No gory violence, instead you get a witty game with a side of humour. Well worth the price.
This is a great one player game but is also real fun with two players. It doesn't split the screen for two players, instead both players have to try and team up to finish each level. Game is pretty easy so for a limited skill player like myself, this game is perfect. Our 4 1/2 year old daughter enjoys pretending to play along but is too hard for her to play it. I have spent some nights now playing till late cause I just can't quit. You get to play along the same story line as all the Star Wars movies, just the characters on the game don't talk. The game looks kind of for kids because of the lego characters but is definitely an addictive game great for adults too.
I absolutely do not regret buying this game. Defenitely a great buy if you are looking to get a new game for your collection. An other game to look at if you like this Star Wars game is the Lego Indiana Jones.
I got this game for my 7 year old to play thinking it was just a kids game, and ended up playing it just as much. One of the most fun and addictive games I've ever played.
Multiple levels, fun challenges and dare I say cute little lego characters make this a game you won't get tired of easily.
There really isn't that much in the way of strategy to it, and it does follow the general flow of the six Star Wars movies (with some lego twists thrown in) but that will suit young minds just fine.
For older players like me, seeing the Star Wars universe in Lego form is quite amusing.
Give it a try and May the Force be with you!
