LEGO Rock Band

This is a game that I can say is one of the best. I own most of the other RockBand(s) and several of the GuitarHero(s).
The game is so interesting, the stage set has motion going on in the background and is entertaining to those that are watching you play. The speed of the notes is slightly slower than the other game series. As you play you can watch several things at once and it becomes more interesting to focus on the notes.
Not only can you play for studs(ie cash) to purchase outfits for the players but you also can purchase items for the Rock Den. The place where your band can hangout between sets and you can create it with so many items that you win from most songs and it can become so much more of an individual setup per player.
I am an adult that enjoys video games but I can say this is one that is just not for kids... the other games have somewhat risque clothing and slightly scary personalities. This may sound like a childs game but ut can be even more fun for adults. Not only do I recommend this for everyone but I congradulate RockBand and Leggo for even doing this. LEGO Rock Band, An Interesting Twist!

I love Rock Band and Rock Band 2. I wasn't sure what to expect on Lego Rock Band. We have a Rock Band competition once a year and work in which everyone really gets into.

I admit, I am not a huge lego fan but I did like some improvements made on the game.

The graphics were ok, there are mini rock characters dressed into legos which is wierd. Some of the background is lego style.

The song list is pretty good with a variety of songs. There is now a super easy mode in which you can pretty much play even if you such, and not get boooed out! This would be a fun game to play as a family in which it is more children orientated.

Overall a recommended buy!

Lego Rock Band "For Those About To Rock"!!!

Great addition to Rock Band all n all. Some Pros, well besides great songs like 'Fire' by Jimi Hendrix & The Ghostbusters theme, the career mode adapts some great new elements I'd like to see in future Rock Band titles, such as being able to edit a whole entourage as well as road crew. Also throughout the career you will have the chance to record 6 CD's including whichever 3 songs you want, and allowing you to edit the CD name and pick from preset CD covers, all great stuff. The Cons, NO ONLINE! Not Leaderboards, Not Ranked Matches, It does have a rock band store though that allows you to download a fraction of the DLC actually offered, and doesnt play all DLC or even recognize it. But for $10 you can export all the songs onto your HD like with Rock Band 1, so if your not interested in rocking out Lego Style, i'd atleast suggest you find the code on here and rent the game, export the tracks and rock out. I think the game has 45 tracks total? (dont quote me on it!). Hope all you plastic rockstars enjoy!

Excellent Rock Band Game

I have really enjoyed Lego Rockband. I originally decided to buy it for its ability to export the songs into Rockband 2, but have also enjoyed playing it as a stand alone game. This export feature was the main selling point for me. It cost a extra 10 dollars to export all 45 songs, but this is well worth it since individual downloadable songs for RB2 are 2 dollars each. The export is done through a code printed on a individual piece of paper on the inside of the case. If the export feature is important to you make sure you buy a new copy as the code which allows you to transfer the songs is only good once and cannot be reused. It also should be noted that Lego Rockband comes with a wide range of songs that are well known but also very kid friendly which should make both the parents and the kids happy. If you enjoy Rockband, Lego RB is a good addition to your game library.

Best family game out there!

This is actually the second time I've purchased Lego Rock Band, because my first one got stepped on. I play this game with my 7 and 9 year old sons. We all take turns using all the instruments and singing. We have almost completed the entire game as a family band. The song selection is FABULOUS, compared to a lot of the Rock Band and Guitar Hero games. It is a game I would definitely recommend for family fun.
