| The Nintendo 64 has seen many racing games, though none are quite like LEGO RACERS. The game, which is inspired by the building block toys, lets players build cars from one of 12 included sets of Legos. There are 24 different tracks to race on, spanning all sorts of imaginative and exciting locations. You can go at it in four racing modes, with the Circuit mode being the most involved. This mode lets you build up points throughout the races, which opens up more tracks and competition. There is also a Time race, which allows you to race against a ghost of your previous performance. The Multiplayer mode lets two people race head-to-head in their own customized vehicles in a split-screen battle. LEGO RACERS features many unique options that possibly due solely to the Lego license make it a fresh and original title. | |
