The phone looks nice, however, it does not have a sim card. Seems when it rings in my carry case and I pull it out I hit a button and it disconnects the call. I still have not figured out how to do a lot of things even the simple phones do. The function, speaker and send buttons on one side are so close you have to be VERY careful for you will push 2 at a time same on the other side as well. OK for texting and for the size of keypad eaiser than others I have had.

Although this product is suppose to back up the contact information from your phone to the website and exchange whatever you type into the "back up" website back to your phone. Unfortunately, this features does not work. Also, it does not have address book Bluetooth capability so if your Bluetooth speaks the number of the incoming call, such as the Jabra Stone-2, the spoken incoming number is always incorrect. The pictures are of a poor quality and they do not upload into the "mypix" website feature that is also part of this phone. Each picture taken must be uploaded 1 at a time. Lastly, it only hold 50 text messages in the "sent, outbox, draft & saved folders."

From an Expert...

This is Virgin Mobiles first QWERTY keyboard phone from Kyocera. For those who like texting and social media like Facebook and Twitter, this is probably the best phone for them at this price. It also comes with the option of downloading Opera Mini which far outshines the native Browser. But before you buy this phone please note: it does not have an MP3 player nor video support, and it isn't expandable. But even then I loved the phone, call quality is fine and so is the rest of the hardware. If you want to be dazzled at all its features go to VMs website, or if you want to see all the Hints and Tips I published for this phone google "Kyocera Loft Hints and Tips" and check out that small blog I made (loftsecrets.blogspot.com). I can answer any questions there. Thanks for reading!

Great little phone that did not cost an arm and leg.

I purchased one of these phones a few weeks ago and was so impressed with it I bought one for myself. It has most of the popular features of much more expensive phones. I particularly liked the size for the characters on the screen. I also like the fact that you don't have slide the phone to get to the qwerty keyboard. It is very lightweight and slim in your pocket.
The drawbacks are that it does not support expansion with a micro sd card. They keys are somewhat small and close together.
In conclusion, I would recommend this phone for someone looking for a god texting phone that doesn't want to spend big bucks.
