Perfect phone for hazardous working conditions

The Kyocera - Badass and durable

I cannot tell you how happy I am with my new phone. I study Criminal Justice and it's perfect for taking pictures for class (I was surprised at the camera quality when I tested it), and it will be very useful when I enter the field. It's the most durable phone I've ever owned; I've showed it off to friends three times so far, dropping it from waist height and receiving calls with it in a bowl of water. I haven't done it more than that, as I don't want to use my warranty already. I love the texting ability, and I've gotten compliments on how the font compliments me; I dunno how, but apparently it does. The battery life is also great; only have to charge it every 3 days or so, even when I'm texting and calling on a regular basis. The only problem I've had with it since I bought it is that it freezes, and no screen is a problem; it seems to do it at random (I just take the battery out a minute and it's good again), and unfortunately it's not easy to get your own ringtones onto it; you have to go into the Sprint store and buy them instead of using easy apps like Zedge, etc. Also, I will admit, it's not a pretty phone, and it IS a bit on the chunky side; however, I'm not a girl who worries about how pretty my phone is, and the chunkiness actually helps keep it in my pocket for once. This phone is the only phone I've ever kept attached to my hip, and it's not going anywhere any time soon!

I bought this so i could always have a spare battery charged up.I already had one.The good part is i still have direct connect,bad,out side button are delicate.I always push them,I'm hard time hearing, but the volumn is great,i can hear very good whie in use. I gave it 4 stars overall

Great product,Built to take abuse and last !!

Great phone for people who need nothing more than a regular phone.Has internet capibility,camera,loud voice box to hear in noisy enviroments.Rugged construction to take abuse,and it's waterproof just in case.Has the direct connect so you can keep in quick contact if needed.Great battery life.I would highly recomend this phone.

Exceeded My Expectations

This phone has exceeded my expectations. Very clear speaker phone! Keys protrude slightly, so are easier to select. Picture quality good. I had a Sanyo Katana for years prior to this, and this phone seems to be a whole level better in quality.

Drawbacks: I'm not sure if the reception has been quite as good, but nothing too noticeably bad. My wife teases that the phone is too bulky, but it doesn't bother me. It is bigger than the other flip phones we've had.
