Good photo quality up to ISO 200; easy to operate.
Cheap feel; no optical image stabilization; narrow lens compared to the competition; noticeable photo quality drop-off at ISO 400.
Though it's missing a couple of key features for its price, the Kodak EasyShare M381 is a capable and uncomplicated ultracompact camera.

I make jewelry as a homebased business and I needed a camera to take pictures and post them online and this camera is perfect. The camera takes great pictures I am glad that I won this bid.
Great camara bought for grandson he is 5 easy for him to use
Wow. I looked around for a while. I use to have a Sony and Canon Digital Cameras. They worked beautiful. Well the years mounted up and they broke or stopped working. I got use to using my cellar phone. But I am/was limited to what I could do with my phone. I started looking around on eBay and Googling cameras. I found this little gem. What a Camera. From taking beautiful breathe taking crisp images, to being able to change the flash on the whim, what a spectacular camera. Forget about the added features. So many to choose from and they are so easy to learn. The battery lasts a long time too. I bought an extra battery just in case and I have never needed it. The zoom is great. Catches far away images at a great resolution. Amazing. Great camera for beginners but also great for more advanced photographers. I bought two of these little cameras. One for my mother as a Birthday gift and one for myself. She loves it as do I. Will never go back. Kodak, you have me hooked. Highly recommended to everyone.
The best feature on this camera is the rechargeable battery, it makes it so hassle-free to operate. I owned the same kind of camera before and when my screen broke [my son sat on it] I wanted the exact same brand to replace it. The only negative I can think of is that there is a shutter delay when you click the button to take a picture, which can make for fuzzy pictures. Maybe the delay is not there at every setting, but it's there on a few of them.
