EASY TO USE, SIMPLE AND ACCESIBLE CONTROLES, AND GOOD RESOLUTION.

FIRST, I NEEDED A CAMERA THAT HAD AN EASY TO SEE DISPLAY AS MY OLDER 'CARRY ABOUT' CAMERA WAS DIFFICULT TO SEE IN DIRECT SUN. THIS CAMERA FAR EXCEEDED MY NEEDS. NOT ONLY IS IT LARGE ENOUGH TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE SHOOTING, BUT HAS A FEATURE WHEN THE SHUTTER IS DEPRESSED SLIGHTLY FOCUSES AND LOCKS ON TO YOUR SUBJECT.

THE CLOSE UP RANGE IS ACCEPTABLE, ENABLING SHOTS AS CLOSE AS NINE INCHES, NOT A MICRO, BUT USABLE FOR CLOSE SHOTS TO USE ON EBAY TO SHOW DETAIL. THE UNIT ALLOWS FOR DIFFERENT MB RANGES ALLOWING SOME SHOTS TO BE ENLARGED WITH GOOD DETAIL AND A FAIR AMOUNT OF PIXELS. AGAIN, DON'T EXPECT STUDIO DETAIL AS IN HIGH END CAMERAS, BUT IT HAS A FAR GREATER SHOT CAPABILITY THAN CAMERAS MADE 5 YEARS AGO.

THE SOFTWARE WAS VERY EASY TO USE AND DOWNLOADED TO WIN 7 WITHOUT ANY GLITCHES...THE ONLY DRAWBACK, AS IN ALMOST ALL LOWER PRICED CAMERAS WAS THE VERY SMALL [MB] MEMORY INSTALLED, SO PREPARE TO BUY A LARGER 16GB TO 64GB CARD,
WHICH BY THE WAY WILL ENABLE YOU TO SHOOT SOME VERY DECENT VIDEO OF SOME LENGTH...THE INCLUDED FLASH AND OTHER PHOTO SHOOT FEATURES ARE EASILY ACCESSED AND SIMPLE TO USE. IT WON'T TAKE TIME TO LEARN LIKE MY DIGITAL SLR CAMERAS, BUT THEN AGAIN I'M NOT USING THIS FOR COVER SHOTS OR PHOTO LAYOUTS...I ONLY PAID $56 FOR MINE, [RETAIL WAS $99 @ THE TIME] THE PRICE OF A GOOD STEAK DINNER...YOU WILL ENJOY THE CAMERA A LOT LONGER.

Great camera for the price with excellent features and easy to use.

I purchased this camera for a gift at Christmas and liked it's features and decided to purchase one for myself also. Even though it's a refurbished camera, the purchase price was exceptionally good. Right out of the box, it looks brand new and had absolutely no problems. However, I also purchased an additional warranty as a safety precaution. The camera works well and takes excellent pictures although the flash doesn't seem to extend far enough and illuminate objects from about the 15-20ft range. I find the on/off button to be rather small and too flat & difficult to use and would have preferred something larger. It's also not an immediate point and shoot camera and there's a momentary pause focusing when going from one scene to the next. The viewing screen is big and relatively bright and easy to see. The Easy Share button is a great feature also and transferring your pictures to your PC is relatively easy and not a cumbersome, difficult process. All said, I would definitely purchase this camera again.

This is the GREATEST little camera!!!!!!!

This is just the Greatest little camera. It does everything and the share button is just grand. It is small and compact. The C195 takes excellent pictures with it's 15 MP and the 3" screen makes it so easy to preview and edit and crop your picturs. The tag system is simple. You can get a custom fit case for it right here on Ebay for $10,99 with free shipping, and that is a hard case. I definitely WOULD RECOMMEND this camera to anyone.

Great value for the money.

Excellent point-and-shoot camera producing a great picture. It's compact and lightweight and has a great number of preconfigured scene settings with face tracking, yet also lets you make changes to ISO settings, adjust for backlight, easily share pics and videos, and edit a pic on the camera. The huge LCD screen lets you easily "compose" a picture. Videos can be taken with or without sound. This is a winner in this category!

I bought this product because it was cheap, its worth what i paid for... I like the easy share to transfer pictures and videos, the videos come out really good but i don't like the auto-focus on it especially for taking up close pictures to see details because i sometimes have to take 3 or 4 pictures before i get it right, so if i don't take the picture quickly the auto-focus takes over and good luck with that...
