I'm very impressed with the features and quality of this little camera. It takes much better pictures than my old Easyshare and downloads in one step. It has built in software so there's no need to download a CD. We took it on vacation to Niagara Falls and even in dim light with lots of mist in the background, the pictures came out clear and crisp. It has an excellent and very easy to use telephoto adjustment that's just behind the shutter making it as easy as possible to frame your picture exactly as you like. I love this camera and my wife loves the red color we chose. I'm not much of a computer tech so the simpler the better for me and this camera meets and exceeds every one of my photo taking requirements. I highly recommend this camera to anyone who wants a simple to use, great quality camera. You will definitely not be disappointed.
I bought thi camera for replace my wife old camera, I iin thi camera aa awesome item it take beautiful picture have excellent resolution, amaizing features find in this camera auto focus, blinking detection, self timer and much more that is an excellent buy i recomend to everybody who need a photographic equipment to buy the Kodak easy share C1530.
This is a great little camera for the money. I didn't intend on taking a bunch of pictures in the dark so no flash is not a big deal. The camera does require that you have an SD card since the internal memory is very limited. The 3X zoom is a problem occasionally, but given the price, it is fine.
This is a camera that you can throw in your pocket, your golf bag, backpack, etc. and just shoot away. It is light, and sufficiently featured to provide a lot of fun.
With no charger, buying batteries can be a bit painful, but you have to shoot a lot of pictures to go through the two AA batteries.
This takes great pictures. Really clear and crisp. One problem is that they cannot be downloaded in most places like phones and e-mails because the files are too big.Another thing is the battery life. Non existent. I would have been better off spending another $30 to get one that does not use AA batteries.
I will start by saying I won this for $40 shipped making me happier than paying retail but the camera is indeed a fairly straight forward quality item that performs as it should.
I bought this to replace the Kodak Z 740 5.1 mp that has served well however needed to take too many shots to find good focused ones. This camera does much better in every respect and has proven an upgrade in a pocket size package. I like the no worries automatic lense protection as well.
The video mode is impressive as well compared to a good most of any maker and the settings I was able to figure out without a manual. I like how it prompts to move any onboard stored pics to an inserted card.
I throttled the setting back to 10mp as it seems about as sharp as anyone can hope for in most applications without creating photo files over 2 gigs in size.
I really can't find anything about it to complain about. It uses 2 AA batteries which is really the way to go, I use brand name rechargeables and get good life out of it running out of storage before batteries.
Don't let the size fool you, it will outperform most any five plus year old cameras of any size or price and I give it a 4.5 stars for the consistency of the 5 star photo quality which is what I was after.
