This tablet has a VERY poor touchscreen so navigation of the system is frustrating. The screen is not the hard glass or crystal you see on a smart phone or I-Pad, it's a softer, almost plastic material that does not pick up finger movements accurately. The operating system is not able to run many popular apps and is noticeably slower than expected with the claimed 1GB processor. I returned the unit and will save the money for a name brand unit.
I purchased the Kocaso 10" tablet just for something to keep on the coffee table. $100 for a 10" tablet running an Android OS is a great price. The battery life is so-so but I don't mind because I keep it plugged in most of the time as it is just a toy to surf the web.
The resistive touchscreen I didn't think would be an issue but I got really annoyed because it doesn't work very well with your finger. The stylus works the BEST. I wanted to play a first-person shooter zombie game in which I needed one finger to click the gun to fire, and the other finger to move the crosshair. I have not found a way to use two fingers on this screen and for the game I ended up using the back of a pen as if I had two styluses (styli? lol).
I liked everything else about this thing. The price is great, the tablet is not too heavy, quite responsive. All you need to do is buy a Micro SD card for storage and you're set. Compared to other tablets? It doesn't really compare. The price is too low to complain about what is actually wrong with the device, and the things that ARE actually wrong with the device don't matter as much because everything works so well for a $100 tablet! It's no iPad so don't expect anything glorious, but if you don't need the perfect stability this tablet is great.
Its an Android Pad , I got mine with the 20 gig flash drive , and keey board case with 4.0 Ice Cream
Sandwich . It's taken a week to get use to it as some
apps work differenly with it , but IT Works , and Im a geezer .The battery should be run down a few times
to around 8% or less shut off for a few minutes and
turned back on , you will find if there is any memory in in the battery , run it down and recharge
my battery seems to be improving with use .And for the price I can't complain. I can watch movies , play games , email and more .got mine off ebay from
ebestshops , still figuring it out , but like I said
mine works for the price . If you want better spend
600 on an Ipad LOL.My model is the M1052.
Seemed slow for advertised speed, memory, and operating system. Had a pixel problem and returned the product. I will stay away from Kocaso brand in the future. Only worth about 50-60 bucks definitely not over a hundred U.S.
This tablet is nice for using the internet and playing around. There are a ton of apps available and relatively easy to use. The camera however leaves a lot to be desired. The pictures are extremely grainy as are the folks you Skype. If your main use is to Skype or share pictures this is not the tablet for you. .3 pix is not enough for this purpose.
