    The Kingston SSDNow V+200 SVP200S3/240G internal hard drive uses solid state technology for less power consumption, longer life span, and nearly instantaneous access to data. The Kingston 240 GB Hard Drive is designed for consumer electronics that require high-performance, high-speed access to data with cooler operational temperatures, and inaudible operation. Physical features of the internal hard drive include a SATA III interface and a SandForce controller within a 2.5-inch form factor. The maximum sequential reading speed of the Kingston 240 GB Hard Drive is 535 Mbps, with a sequential write of 480 Mbps. Random reads for the drive run at approximately 36,000 IOPS with random write speeds of 43,000 IOPS. The Kingston 240 GB Hard Drive is equipped with data integrity protection through DuraClass Technology, as well as DuraWrite for optimized recording of data that extends the endurance of the drive. This Kingston SSDNow V+200 SVP200S3/240G consumes 0.6 watts of power on idle and 3.2 watts of power when operating. The dimensions of the drive are 2.8 inches wide by 3.9 inches deep by 0.4 inches thick, with a weight of 0.3 lbs.

      Well worth the money if your after a nice speed upgrade!

      Originally I bought this in an attempt to speed up my loading times, but I never expected such a difference! It's amazing at how fast it loads windows, games like Battlefield 3 load the matches in an 8th of the time EASILY!
      Blacklight loads textures much faster and opening large 8gb video files have a similar delay to a notepad file.

      The price was set well too, my guess is that there may be faster models out there by Corsair but not within this price range, not by a long shot!

      The only downside is that the unit is so small that it feels like it's wasting space, it uses one of any drivebay with the appropriate cage while with the larger bays I beieve you could fit 4 easily!
