Purchased this game to go with the Kinect we bought for Christmas. We thought this game would be easy for our 2+ year old to play. He does enjoy the game, but some aspects are hard for him to control. He usually gives up and watches us play it "for" him. Overall a cute game, but best for older players.
... a bit hard for my 5 years small Ema ... but OK
some words from IGN: What would be a normal virtual pet game gets an interesting narrative. The menus are annoying to navigate. The hit or miss motion controls really drag the game down. Works well, but feels very walled off. Playable for a few minutes a day for weeks on end, assuming you don't get bored of watching your cats be cute.
Got this game for my 8 year old and she LOVES it. Plus I got it brand new way cheaper than I could at any stores around.
I bought the Kinectimals with Bears for my 3y/o granddaughter for Xmas. It took an hour or so to set it up but, once set up, she just loves it. The game is interactive and learns her moves, voice, etc. She named her favorite cub and loves how the cub comes when called. She also has found balls for the cub to play with. The only down side is setting enough time aside as once she starts playing, she'll play for hours on end. Unlike other games, this is one I don't think she will grow tired of anytime soon.
I bought it for my five year old daughter and she is in love with it. She ask to play it all the time.
