Product Information
The Kenwood receiver is a USB/CD in-dash receiver. The built-in HD radio broadcasts quality FM sound as well as quality sounding AM and is available only in the USA. The latest technology is available on the in dash receiver with Excelon for performance and quality as well as the highest sonic quality. For connecting devices, USB thumb drives, and external hard disk drives, there is USB connectivity on the Kenwood KDC-X596. The USB port is on the front with AUX input. There is a 3.5 mm stereo input jack for audio devices with a headphone jack. FL display means bright one line display, which is easy to see when navigating the menu. Add external power amplifiers by using the built-in crossover system with triple 2.5-volt pre-outs on the Kenwood receiver. Digital FM frequency range is 87.9 MHz to 107.9 MHz and the frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz on the in-dash receiver. The AM digital frequency range is 530 kHz to 1700 kHz and the AM frequency response is 40 Hz to 15 kHz on the Kenwood KDC-X596. The digital filter is eight times oversampling and the file system is FAT16/32 on the Kenwood receiver.
