This is a good gig from Jimi's last year alive. He plays a fine pair of shows as this concert is an edit of the afternoon & evening gigs. The real cooker of the night is his version of Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) at the end of the show. The DVD also has the complete audio of one of the gigs so you can listen to this concert to listen to without watching the DVD. It's worth picking up!
If you aspire to play like Jimi Hendrix you have to have this. A great performance with him in tune all night long and in full control of his rig.
I am a HUGE fan of Jimi and this DVD is one of the best I have seen!! Bonus is that the complete second set audio is on the DVD under more features.
I cannot get enough Jimi, he is the Godfather of distortion and I aspire to play even one song with as much soul as he had.
We had him for four years and this DVD shows what he was made of, raw soul and power!!

What can I say other than, it's Jimi Hendrix doing what he does best? I already had this on VHS tape and, I needed to get the updated version. I think they did a good job of that, making this better by doing so.
