The Jetsons old and new

I love the characters that's set in the bright and optimistic future that gave me hope, inspiration and something great to look forward to as a kid growing up in the '60s. However, I did not care too much for the softer animation style, scene distortions, certain coloration (overuse of purple) and some furniture that's too pillowy and overbearing used in the '80s compared to the original series from the early '60s that was cleaner, simpler and sharper. Also the latter series fascination with computers and microchips instead of the earlier attraction to rockets and outerspace travel. That's going backwards if you ask me when you think about that in real life the use of computers comes before interstellar travel. Oh well, I suppose Hanna-Barbera just kept up with the times using computer animation and the then current lifestyle of the times. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the release of season 2 volume 2 or season 3.

Great Family entertainment. Brings back a lot of childhood memories. They dont make them like this anymore. Showing my daughter what I grew up watching. Awesome.

I love the Jetson - I grew up on them and absolutely need cartoons from my childhood for days that I need some comfort!!!

I also love being able to share with my children and grandchildren something I shared with fond memories of my grandfather.
