|The Jack Nicklaus 5 (JN5) golf simulation provides a remarkable venue for both the golf enthusiast and wannabe designers. Unlike most other golf sims on the market, JN5 ships with a state-of-the-art design module which allows re-creation of any course anywhere in the world, as well as the option of designing "fictional/fantasy" courses.|
The game also includes ten pre-designed courses. Jack Nicklaus 5 has a huge array of features that include the standard "2-Click" or "3-Click" swing meters plus a new "MouseMeter" swing. Commentary is provided by Gary McCord (PGA member). JN5 makes use of 3D polygonal golfers developed with motion-capture technology and has AI computer golfers ready to challenge you. You can play by yourself, against the computer or even on the internet.
Ball flight physics have been improved from earlier editions and now account for hillside and uneven lies. The game features multiple modes of play (for example, tournament, stroke and skins to name just a few) and provides choices of playing at pro, handicap (amateur) or scratch levels. TV cameras are adjustable and allow views of aiming, playing or watching shots from nearly every conceivable angle. With the incredible course designer and unlimited venues possible, along with gorgeous graphics, this title is a worthy tribute to the Golden Bear himself.
