i wanted a bluetooth receiver
i love the product . very easy to use great sound and usability
works great with my droid and even plays my favourite tune in radio app on my car stereo through the bluetooth. 128 kbp and up radio stations sound great, full access to droid phone book through the receiver. my son loves the flashing colors , different colors for panel and display, quick access to usb media and fast scrolling through the song lists and folders.
really have nothing bad to say , i have a renault with new receiver and decent speakers, every days drive to work and back has become enjoyable : )
The stereo is great. I bought the stereo to install in my car because I was missing one. So when I finally got it installed, I was amazed at the features that it has. Bluetooth calling, bluetooth audio and a bunch of other audio tweaks. It holds up pretty well for it's price and can compete with other single din receivers in its class. I only dislike how the bluetooth takes 20 seconds to connect to my phone when I first start my car.
This JVC replaced a 4yr. old Kenwood in my F-250. The Kenwood has integrated ipod controls also but not nearly as intuitive as the JVC. The Kenwood went in my other truck and every time I drive it I have to remember how to navigate the ipod but after 6 weeks with the JVC controlling the ipod comes naturally. Sound quality is better too, same truck, same speakers, same ipod, JVC is much crisper and clearer. This head unit has several selectable levels of display brightness which is nice since the "dimmer" wire that you hook up never works with the factory dimmer control. The menus are easy to navigate, you don't have to memorize some ridiculous button sequence to access menus. Hands free phone works great through bluetooth, my truck is a diesel but whoever is on other end of the phone tells me not to yell. Call sound quality is excellent. I can't wait to get a new phone that will be compatable so I can try out the pandora, etc. Overall what you get for the $ is all you could ask for if you can't remember the last time you actually bought a CD.
My criteria were a unit that produced great sound, front connection for iPod, and Bluetooth for linking my phone. I installed it in a motorhome, added some better speakers, and it sounds great. I don't have to take my hands off the wheel to answer calls, and the iPod connection is very convenient. Works great for what I wanted.
I bought this unit for my 1998 F150 and I must say this a a great head unit. Bluetooth connects automatically to my android phone even without pulling it out of my pocket. I'm just starting to come to grips with how many features this unit has. At the price it was a great deal. It displays everything on my phones music library and actually plays songs no other deck Ive tried will. The hands free phone option for the phone service works great and so does the pandora integration with my cell phone.
