Equal to the first movie!

This movie picks up practically from the end of the first one. A Russian scientist is lying in bed, dying, his son, Ivan is at his side. Ivan is full of rage over the events that existed between his late father & the late Howard Stark! He declares revenge on Tony Stark in the name of his father! He becomes Whiplash! Tony, on the other side of the world, has his own problems. The device that has saved his life is killing him also. He makes Pepper Potts the new Chairwoman, politically correct term now, & the CEO of Stark Industries. He starts becoming reckless, driving the racing car his company sponsored to race in Monaco! Whiplash is also there too! And things get pretty messy really fast! Iron Man saves the day & Whiplash is sent to jail, But, associates of Tonys' rival, Justin Hammer, break Ivan out & send him covertly to the United States. & that is the first 30 minutes of the movie only. I will not go any further to spoil any more of the movie!
About the product, the Limited Edition Steelbook(Metalpak), whichever you wish to call it, is numbered out of a possible 30000 editions available. Not yet sold out at Target.com! I purchased this at a bargain & substantially much less than the cost of importing it from Target! I will say this with the exceptions of those that I have purchased here on Ebay, I have noted certain persons going a little too overboard for the prices they are seeking! Most unfortunate for those of us , the bargain hunters, but rest assured these prices will decrease in time!
It is a 3 disc set, the main feature & some special features on Disc 1, the rest of the Special Features on Disc 2 & the infamous dvd/digital copy on Disc 3. Inside the case, there is the Hall of Armor featuring the four versions of the Iron Man suits. The cover is a lenticular/hologram cover. Very cool!
This is a must buy for collectors & fans of Iron Man, highly recommended for all!

Iron Man II Blu Ray plus digital copy

When it comes to pristine picture and sound, nothing beats Blu ray. Watching this movie on my home system after viewing at a local theater using this video software is THE BOMB! Picture quality, sound quality using DTS sound option offered on this set offers the home theater enthusiast a chance to recreate the motion theater experience in their living room. By getting this two disc set along with the digital copy for use in a PC is really cool. Can't wait to get my hands on the Thor Blu Ray set when it becomes available next year. My son has watched this movie over and over...

I have not watched this movie, but my 7 year old son has watched this movie about six times in the week we have had it! He loves it...now he has Iron Man costume for Halloween, and needless to say this guy is now his #1 action hero.

The only criticism I have is that the movie studios release so many movies (this one as well) in 2.4/1 aspect ratio (black bars on top/bottom), when everyone with a blu ray player/HDTV have 16/9 aspect ratio. What are they thinking?

As Awesome As I remember.

Have ot seenthe Blu-Ray yet, no Player, but looking forward to it'sa bells and whisltes. Loved seeing the film again, and in the comfort of my home. Still a fun flick, yes, not as great as the first, but still a good watch. Downing still has Tony's character on the money.
