Ionic Pro Turbo Air Purifier

I've been using this Air Purifier for close to 3 weeks now.

I smoke quite heavily (1-2 packs a day -Ugh!) in a 1 Bedroom apartment. I purchased this Air Purifier for its claim to remove smoke from the air of my living area for guest and family members that otherwise would not enter my apartment.

I have had one family member and a few friends tell me they could not tell I had been smoking after only thirty minutes from my last puff of smoke in the room. My x-wife even told my son who had come to visit(my 24 year old son is allergic to cigarette smoke)that she did not smell or see any smoke in the air and that she felt it would be safe for him to enter the room.

This Air Purifier does give off a slight plastic/bleach type odor after running on high for longer periods. I do not find the odor that objectionable. I also find that scented air fresheners are even removed from the air quite quickly. This may or may not be a problem for you.

I tend to run this air purifier on low to medium 24/7 and on High for up to an hour before expecting company that are offended by smoke.

From my experience, I am very satisfied with the results. I can only assume that the manufacturers claim to remove bacteria and viruses are also true.

I have not yet heard a clicking noise that some people have mentioned after the metal plates inside become dirty. I just looked at my metal plates, they are now covered with a very brown and dusty film. The Clean Warning Light has not yet come on. I think I'll go ahead and clean them now. This Is the first time I will have cleaned it in 3 weeks. They are easily cleaned with a slightly damp cloth or paper towels. I have found a bit of window cleaner helps. You should make sure the metal blades are dry before turning back on.

I still plan to add a Hepa Filter type Air Purifier to make my living area even more sanitary.

Over all, I'm very satisfied with the performance of this Ionic Pro Turbo Air Purifier.

My wife likes to cook a lot, but after then my kitchen (and family room too) are full of a mixture of food smell.
After I bought and used this Ionic Pro Air Purifier, the smell is gone.
I am very happy with it.

WE HAD AN IONIC PRO AND LOVED IT. WE DECIDED TO GET ANOTHER ONE. IT HAS MADE A HUGE DIFFRENCE IN OUR AIR QUALITY AND FOR OUR SON WITH ALLERGIES.

I bought the air purifier for my son who is a painter. After breathing paint fumes even with a mask he needs clean air. This unit is quiet and seems to do a good job

Excellent product. I can defininetly tell the difference in the air quality. we smoke in the house but keep it limited to one room. I have the air purifier in that room and we can tell the difference in the air since we purchased this product.
