Excellent sound for low cost. Nothing to dislike unless you want size. Looked around ,checked other sources, and others who have used these speakers feel the same.
I was happy getting this speaker, because it's no longer availlable. But I didn't now that there was not cable included.
AWESOME SET OF SPEAKERS. A CLASS ACT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. WARM SOUND WITH LOTS OF SIZZLE. 5 STARS IN MY BOOK.
I bought these to replace my Bose 901's, with equalizer, that I got in the early 80's. Not that the Bose were in any way disfunctional; I was just looking for similar sound with a less prominent profile for a newly remodeled room at an affordable price. Zingo! These are very nice speakers for the family room. Kids music sounds like music, neither tinny nor shallow nor cartoonish. Popular contemporary comes through with highs and lows without buzzing or disappearance. Classical and chamber are clear, crisp and intimate. Oldies have all the haze, the tingle, the clarity, the rasp, the ... memories. OK, so they're not as deep as the Bose, but they fit the bill quite nicely.
