I have to say that this game definitely earned the title of infamous. It lived up to the original game and improved on certain aspects such as combat. Not only are more choices given for how you deal with enemies, but movement are made more fluid and are able to chain together for massive damage. The new powers are also incredible, they add a bit more style. The other stuff that came with the game is also very nice. The short comic helped add depth to story and the statue is just plain cool.
An excellent game, I would like to see more temptation to play as an "evil" character, though...even though I only ever play through these games once, and that "once" is me playing as though I were the character in the game.
I also hate the fact that the right thumb-stick axis can't be set to normal/inverted x and y axis for both third person free-camera and over-the-shoulder aiming. So if I reverse the X axis for third-person view, it's also inverted when I hold L1 to aim. Stupid.
this time cole has more powers, more allies, and more enemies which makes the game more fun
first off review about the hero edition:
bag replica which is actually a real bag but depicts the one cole wears in the whole game - COOL
the statue of cole mcgrath - HOT
a mini-comic book - GOOD
the extras which include
gold amp which just changes color of ingame weapon - LAME
kessler costume just to change appearance - LAME
electrocution grenade power - NICE
lightning hook power - VERY NICE
preorder bonus:
sniper blast - S**T
now on to the game the graphics are beefed up since its a ps3 game so it takes full use of its capacity not as much as uncharted which is a mission oriented game but better than most sandbox games
the gameplay is simple and equally fun as the last game and better extras not too much more than 1st infamous but still enough to keep things interesting
the extra powers of ice and fire also add and extra advantage to the fight
in short no one should miss it
it carries a loads of fun and time pass if ones looking for it
Game itself is amazing! better than the first, extras like the cole mcgrath statue, comic book and especially the backpack is awesome, the extra costumes and weapons are also cool, recommended to every hardcore gamer collector!
If you more than 'like' inFAMOUS 2 then I recommend buying a cheaper hero edition from eBay. The figure looks great, the comic was cool, bonus content is enjoyable, soundtrack was interesting (you get the RED soundtrack BLUE one is available on iTunes), and the bag?...awesome!
